You would think being a supernatural creature would make your life easy. Well it doesn't. After all, your life as a teenage werewolf hasn't been very fun. In high school people start discovering their mates, the people they're spending their lives with. According to what the leaders of your pack say, you could die from not accepting your mate (which you thought was incredibly dumb and probably a lie). Anyway dealing with werewolf boys...or any werewolf in general is annoying, especially when they're in heat and the "constant desire to mate" takes over their actions. All in all being a werewolf isn't all it's cracked up to be. Especially since you don't know any humans. The funny thing however, was that humans seemed to know a lot about you. You always wondered who they based Teen Wolf and The Vampire Diaries off of. Let me explain how this started:
~Flashback to April 12th 1987~
Today, well before you were born, your mom turned 15. She had a party at her friends house, and was walking home afterwards. Coincidentally this occurred on the night of a full moon. She couldn't help feel like she was being watched as she walked home in the dark, but it wasn't until she heard the low growl of a creature that she was really scared. She turned around to see a huge creature had been following her, and before she could run she was bitten. She survived high school with this secret, befriending the other teen werewolves she came to know, and eventually marry her mate (your dad). This now leaving you in the current situation you were in.
~Back to the present~
"Y/n get to school!"
Your mom yells from downstairs.
"Coming!"
You yell back, neatly placing your chapstick in your backpack before checking over your outfit one more one and running downstairs:

You very much disliked your school uniform, especially with all those horny teenage werewolf boys around. The other annoying part, living in "mountainous forest areas" for "safety". B*tch. You were pretty sure a human wouldn't just up and kill a werewolf, but then again you wouldn't know...you've never met one.
"Hey stranger"
You turn your head to see Mark, Loren, and Luna walking up from behind you. Despite what you said, there were still some good genuine werewolves left.
"Hey guys"
"Did I tell you about yesterday"
Luna asks. You shake your head no.
"Yesterday some kids from the football team kept bugging these sophomores girls"
"Ewww they were probably in heat"
You roll your eyes making everyone laugh.
"Why do you hate it so much, it's supposed to be the time to find your soulmate and-"
