I stand up from first period, getting ready to head to break when suddenly; odd owl noises was heard from the classroom door as I turn around, seeing an idiot looking boy; dressed extremely neat by the way as I laugh.

I walk towards the boy as he smiles. "Morning Hallie."

I giggle. "Morning kim taehyung."

He laughs as he ruffles his hair. "Oush, what happened to your hair? It looks like a bird used your hair as a nest" he says as I roll my eyes.

"Shut up shrek." I say as he frowns. "Ya-yah! Why you gotta compare me to shrek huh?"

I laugh. "How was science class with Mr Yang?"

He sighs deeply as we start to walk to the cafeteria. "Same old shit. Learning about the periodic table." He says as I giggle.

"You know, there's a ball coming up soon" kim taehyung suddenly mentions as I laugh. "So?"

He laughs. "Since you and I are single for life, why not we go together?"

I look into his eyes as I start to die of laughter. "Oh my god, funny joke shrek." I say as he groans.

"Hey stop calling me that. I'm being serious!" Taehyung says as he stops me from walking towards the cafeteria, draggin me by the lockers.

"Seriously? You and I? I'm not worth your while taehyung" I say as he frowns. "why would I be asking you out for a ball if you aint worth it for me?"

I look down, fidgeting my fingers.

God dammit kim taehyung. You had to play with my feelings again.

"I-I don't know. I mean, ball is a month away." I say as he sighs. "I know but I gotta claim you before anyone else does."

I tried to hold in my squeal as I could feel my cheeks heating up.

"Can we talk about this later?" I ask him as he smiles softly. "ok sure."

We continue to head to the cafeteria, seeing students playing around and eating.

After getting snacks, it was finally next period.

I head to next class, seeing my science lab partner as he waves. "Hey hallie, did you do your homework that you never do?"

I sit by my partner. "No I did not. Come on jungkook, you really think I'd do homework."

Jungkook laughs as he scoots a bit closer, making me widen my eyes as he keeps his head straight. "Mind if I ask... you something?" He says as I raise an eyebrow.

"I don't mind. What's up?" I ask him as he smiles softly. "Do you have a thing with kim taehyung?"

I widen my eyes, staring deep into jungkook's brown eyes as he keeps a soft smirk on his face.

"You ok there?" He asks me as I shake my head, waking myself up as I chuckle awkwardly. "Why would you think I have a thing with taehyung?"

Jungkook shrugs. "I don't know. You guys seem to be extremely close which of course; makes it seem like you two have a thing for each other."

I sigh. "Nah, h-he's not my type and I'm not his." I say as jungkook nods. "I see. I guess it's my chance to have you then huh?"

I raise an eyebrow. "What do you me—"

"Okay class. Open your books to chapter 69."

I get cut off from the teacher as I continue to think deeply at what jeon jungkook had said.

Was it wrong that I said I did not have feelings for kim taehyung when in reality, I do?

After listening to the teacher's boring explanation, we start to do experiments with our lab partners.

"Are you free after school?" Jungkook suddenly asks me as I look into his eyes.

"I'm always free. You know me man. I'm a lonely girl who wants to be locked in her room and watch kpop on crack on youtube."

Jungkook laughs. "Then can I take you out to a restaurant tonight?" he asks as I smile awkwardly. "I-I don't kno—"

"Please? Just for tonight?" He begs as I sigh. "Okay sure."

Jungkook smiles brightly, cheering as I smile. We continue to do the experiment as class finally ended.

— after school; —

"Nest head!"

I turn around, seeing kim taehyung jogging towards me as I smile. "Hi shrek. What's up?"

Taehyung laughs as we start to head home, leaving school grounds.

"Are you free tonight? I was hoping you can come by my work and we can hang by the pier." Taehyung asks me as I ruffle my hair.

"Ooooh! Sure!" I say smiling as he cheers. "Yes, i love you." Taehyung says as I widen my eyes.

"Oh wait, shit." I stop walking as he stops, raising his eyebrows. "What? You scared me."

I groan. "I have a date tonight..."

Taehyung widens his eyes. "A..a date?"

I nod as he starts to chuckle. "Oh wow! My dear best friend is all grown up. Hahaha." He softly hits me on my arm as I smile awkwardly.

"Who you um... who you going with?" He asks as we start to walk again.

"Jeon jungkook." I say as he frowns. "Him? Isn't he the playboy of the school?"

I frown. "No he isn't"

Taehyung stops walking causing me to stop. "Yes he is. He's hooked up with every girl in this school."

I scoff. "Stop judging a book by its cover alright?"

Taehyung frowns. "I technically read this book already and it ain't pretty. He isn't what he says he is to you"

I sigh. "Okay. I can clearly see you don't want me to go on this date because you want me to come and visit you at your retarded job and hang out at the boring pier."

Taehyung frowns as I start to walk off "yah! Where...where are you going?!" He shouts as I frown.

"Away from you. So you'd stop bugging me and stopping me from going out on this date!" I shout as I continue to walk off.
