"Yes! Strike for me!" I say, jumping around as a pair of hands wrap my waist, smiling.

"I knew you'd do it!"
"Of course hoseok! Who do you think I am huh?" I say poking the tongue as he giggles.

"Hoseok why are you sucking so much now? Before you were a pro!" His friend, jimin says chuckling as his other friends burst out laughing.

I turn my head to hoseok, ready to laugh but instead, I saw something that I barely seen in a daily basis.

Hoseok fake smiling.

"Hoseok? You ok?" I ask whispering as he turns his head at me, shifting his seat as he nods.

"Ye-yeah... I'm fine. Don't worry." He says smiling not as brightly as before.

I pout. "are you sure?" I ask as he smiles, nodding.

"Hey. Don't worry about me ok? Just... go and enjoy" he says smiling, holding my hand tightly than before as I felt my heart tremble.

"Oh-okay..." I say resting on his shoulders.

After bowling, hoseok decided to drop me off home.

But during the ride, he kept silent, usually I'd be hearing cute laughters and singing crazily to high school musical music.

"Jagiya?" He says muttering, barely audible but was able to hear it as I turn my head towards him.

"Ye-yes hoseok?" I say as he sighs deeply.

"Don't forget about me." He says as I frown.

"What?"

"I.... well; don't ask questions but... just remember that I love you ok? And no matter what happens, i'll be there for you." He says as I frown.

"What are you say—"
"We're here." He says, cutting me off as I sigh, looking down.

"Oh yeah..." I say, trying to hold in my tears.

I had no idea what to do. Get off the car or kiss him good bye like we normally do.

but as I stepped out one foot, I felt my arm getting pulled harshly as I felt his lips pressed onto mine, feeling much more passionate.

He lets go as he stares into my eyes deeply. "I love you so much... and I know I told you this multiple times. But I'm just telling you—"

"Can you cut that out?" I say frowning as he widens his eyes.

"Cut what out?" He says acting innocent as I sigh.

"Saying things that sound like you're leaving me or something." I say, feeling a tear roll down as he looks down.

"Well maybe that was my purpose" he says as my heavy breathing stopped.

"What?" I say, letting my tears drop.

"It was .... so tough for me ... to tell you all of this. I couldn't.... stop fake smiling..." he says as I watch him tear up.

"What's wrong? Jagi, you know I'll always be here for you." I say as he sighs, grabbing my hand tightly.

"I'm enlisting for the army"

My heart stopped as I watch him burst into tears as I wiped it, sighing.

"Why didn't you tell me this before?" I say frowning as he groans.

"Because I couldn't! I knew you'd get hurt that I'm leaving you" He says as I sigh.

"I... am hurt but, you have no choice also, this is; I guess a good opportunity." i say as he smiles softly.

"Also..." I continued. "There is no way I would forget about you"

He smiles as i felt his embrace around me, making me smile alot brighter than before.

Its been more than two years since Hoseok has gone away and enlisted for the army.

It's tough... but; I always knew he'll come back home.

"y/n! There's beautiful fireworks tonight! Wanna go?" My dear friend; Jessica says as I smile.

"Tonight?" I say, thinking as she nods.

"Sure, why not. I've got nothing to do tonight" I say as Jessica cheers, smiling.

"Hooray! I'll pick you up at 8pm" she says as I nod.

"3! 2! 1!"

The people shouted as fireworks start to blast in the air, making me smile.

I watch the fireworks as I remember the past, remembering when Hoseok was embracing me as I felt warm in his arms.

"Wah... so pretty!" I say, seeing different colours burst in the sky.

"And so are you.." a voice says causing myself to turn around, seeing a face that I never thought would see in a million years.

"Oh my god. Hoseok..." I say as I felt my eyes water.

"You're not real. Is this real?! I'm drea-dreaming." I say as I watch the male walk closer.

"I am real Jagiya" he says as I hide my face, feeling my tears roll down.

"No... you're no—"

I suddenly got cut off by lips that I never thought of feeling ever again, feeling his warm hands keeping me warm.

"I miss you so much" he says after moving his head away from the kiss, still has his hands around me.

"So did I. I told you I'd wait" I say smiling as he smiles brightly.

The smile that I've always loved to see.
