Mission 32: Trapped

Dante's POV

"Here's the plan and I'll only say it once." (Y/n) waited for everyone's full attention and continued.

"We are going to the SK's main base. We're planning something similar to a raiding party.

A total of fifty men will come with us accompanied by the elite. We can handle a good chunk of their men and the little left of what they have of an elite crew. The problem is Aaron.

He can make some amazing strategies under pressure. Not only that but he's difficult for even three of us to handle. We all sadly have to admit he's some kind of crazy monster.

So it's simple we need to get him out of the way we'll we take care of his men. He seems to be interested in Aphmau so we're going to send her on a fake mission and let her get captured. She will find a way to keep him busy.

Eventually, he will find a way out or someone will get him out. So once Aphmau can no longer hold him. Katelyn and I will go deal with him. As soon as the building looks trashed and enough men are dead we will leave."

It was a pretty good plan in my opinion especially if the next goal in this war was to get their numbers down.

"(Y/n) you're the leader. You said it yourself Aaron is very difficult to handle. You shouldn't be the one to put yourself at risk like that." Travis did have a point.

"If you go down we all go down," I added.

She closed her eyes for a few moments as if turning the thought in her head.

"No, he's mine. I'm best suited to handle him anyways."

"(Y/n) it's not wise." Travis continued.

"I'll do it," Garroth said catching everyone's attention.

"No, you have to be in the center of the building where the most guards are. The plan won't work without you there." She said firm with a look of annoyance.

"Then I'll do it," Nicole said.

Dammit, Nicole why!

"You can move me around can't you?" She continued.

"Yes but-" Nicole cut her off.

"Then it's settled me and Katelyn will do it."

Before (Y/n) could say anything I raised my voice.

"No, I'll do it."

I can't let Nicole put herself at risk like that. Not after things with me and her have been going so well.

"Dante you're injured. You can't fight Aaron and you know it." Zoey sighed.

"She's right Dante I'm the best to do it." Nicole gave me a reassuring smile.

It didn't reassure me at all.

"No Nicole like I said Aaron is mine. Plus you are injured as well. He won't get away with-"

"(Y/n)!! You can't put your own feelings above what's best for all of us!" Nicole snapped.

The mad look on (Y/n) face faded and she looked down.

"Your right, you're all right. I'm sorry for putting my emotions into this. Nicole and Katelyn will get Aphmau out of there safe and do there best with Aaron.

Garroth and I will deal with the central level. Zoey will stay back and help us behind the scenes. Dante will lead a team in keeping the exit clear for us. Travis will deal with planting bombs around the building with a specialist team.

Everyone got it!"

"Yes, ma'am!" We all said in sync.

"All rise!" We all stood at her words.

"This meeting is over! I will see you all geared and ready by 9:00 tonight."

Aphmau's POV

Time skip 9:37

I was wiping papers and throwing open draws left, right and center. The thirteenth floor was basically a huge informational center. My fake mission was basically the same mission (Y/n) had. Brake in steal information and run.

I had already taken out lots of guards but there was still no sign of Aaron.

"Any sign? Over." It was (Y/n).

"Nothing yet I'm making a hella lot of noise so any minute now... Over."

Just as I finished the sentence the doors burst open. It was Salem. Not exactly who I was looking for but I was getting closer.

"This isn't the first time I've fought a Divine in this room." He cracked his neck side to side.

"And there won't be a second time. I've picked up heat signatures loitering at the front doors go check it out." A dark tall figure appeared from the doorway.

"I'll handle her." It was Aaron, finally.

I very discreetly put my finger behind my ear. I made it look like I was nervous.

"Got him. Over."

"Will move when you give the signal. Over."

Salem groaned and walked out the door leaving me alone with the psychopath.

I had to make it look real so I got on throwing the first punch.

After a while of me getting tossed around, let's be fair I didn't stand a chance with him strength wise. He grabbed my arms and began dragging me to the elevator.

I knew he wouldn't kill me immediately I had far too much information about the Divine for him to do that.

He brought me to a cold damp room with a bunch of cells. Well, he was distracted getting something from his pocket. Probably the key for the cell.

"Leo, open the door," I whispered.

"What was that." He demanded.

"I said please have mercy oh mighty king Aaron." I rolled my eyes playing dumb.

The door slowly started to open before he had the chance to look up I kicked him in the back knocking him into the cage.

He went to get up but I threw myself on top of him trying to keep him down.

"Leo! The door!" The door immediately slammed.

I got off of him and took a deep breath.

Aaron got up and shook the bars. He took what he had been so distracted looking for. A card. He stuck his hand through the bar and scanned it. The light flashed red.

"What did you do!" He growled.

"Before I came here I hacked the system with Leo. So I basically control anything technical in this place." I smiled.

He grabbed me by the hair and threw me against the wall.

"Unlock the door right now!"

"Leo unlock the door." I barely breathed out.

"I'm sorry that command is overridden."

"How!! Aren't the zodiac signs assigned to the elite to do anything they say! Who overrode the system!"

"Command overrode by elite member Aphmau."

He glared. "You overrode your own system! I won't let you keep me here!"

"The question isn't who's going to let me it's who's going to stop," I smirked. "Alright, guys your good to go."

Hey guys!! So I said a couple of chapters ago that something big was coming... and I go to wright and I find out that what I thought would be one chapter turns out to be way more.... XD BUT FINALLY the big thing is happening next chapter and that's almost a promise unless I absolutely need to add other things in to make the story better.
