Pieter POV
“What do you want Pete!” One of the twins shouted as he saw me, I just came though their backyard. I ditched school to try to get Adina to Daniel. After their Alpha gave me very confusing directions I was finally here.
“I wanted to check on Adina, I heard she changed.” It was awkward asking about a girl besides Clara, it felt plain wrong.
“I thought you already had a mate, what, are you cheating on her?” The other twin piped up, that just made me plain angry! My wolf was ready to come out and killing him just for saying that.
“I would never cheat on Clara! NO, Never. She is the only thing that makes me happy!” I growled.
“Good, cause you’re lucky to have one.” The other twin muttered, Trevor I think. I felt a wave of guilt, poor guy, he still hasn’t met her.
“Talking about not having a mate, you have to listen to me when I say my Alpha, Daniel is missing he’s mate, Adina.” Both of them growled, what is their problem?
“We do not trust you with our Addie.” Taylor or something, growled.
“And if your Alpha really wanted her, you will talk to my dad, Former Alpha.” Trevor said simply. I sighed in defeat looks like I’m going to the pack house.
Before I could leave a bark came from behind, I turned to see a white wolf who must have been Adina. Then everything shifted with a round of growls.
“No way in Hell, Addie!” Taylor boomed
“He is a freaking Beta of one of the most powerful packs in this state.” Trevor exclaimed
“Addie it isn’t that we don’t think you can defend yourself; it’s that we care about you.” Someone explained.
“Plus we can’t trust this person.” Another Hissed.
“NO ADDIE!” All of them started said at the same time, what were they talking about?
“Um…guys, what are you talking about?” I awkwardly asked.
“She wants to fight you.” Trevor muttered under he’s breath.
“I think it’s a good idea. She does need to learn some fighting thing.” I tried to reason. “Plus you know I wouldn’t hurt her, Daniel would kill me.” Suddenly she froze at the mentioning of Daniel, OOPS! I wasn’t supposed to interfere with fate by telling her about her mate
Trevor was at her side in seconds. “Addie are you okay?” He whispered into her ear, and then there was a pause.
“What name?” He asked very scared.
“What is happening?” I whispered to Taylor.
“She saying she’s going crazy some ones name.” he muttered.
“What’s the name?” It was annoying not being in the link. He didn’t answer; he just had an awed face.
“Daniel.” He finally said in defeat.
“I told you.” I muttered under my breath. It felt good being right for once. Taylor sighed and turned to me.
“I guess she will be going, it isn’t fair keeping two parts of a whole apart. Now my dad will have to listen to you now. But I guess it’s better, her being with him all the time instead of her wandering. But if he hurts her, your pack is skewed, Understand?” he said low enough so she couldn’t hear.
“Thank you, my Alpha will be over joyed.”
