2.63 "I Always Will"

Next day. morning. Living room. 

I opened my eyes sleepy and looked around. 

Tyler, Elena, Matt, Stefan still sleeping somewhere in the living room. 

Caroline and Damon weren't here anymore. 

I yawed and my eyes widened when i realized in what position i was in. I was leaning against Stefan's side with his arm around me.

I smiled a little.

I saw him stir. I closed my eyes pretending to sleep. 

I felt Stefan's arm around me tighten. I have no idea how we got in this position. I'm pretty sure i fell asleep with my head on Ty's stomach but now Ty's head his head on my shins.  

 I heard Tyler yawn and felt Stefan's arm around me leaving. 

He stood up and left. I sat up and yawned again. 

Then I looked at Tyler who had his head on my shins and whispered "Ty, you awake?"

Tyler turned his body to me and opened his eyes "yeah, you?"

I rolled my eyes "you were snoring "

Tyler smirked "you too, honey "

I rolled my eyes.

Tyler chuckled quietly "kidding"

I yawned again. I was still tired. 

Tyler "I saw your cute little smile, Adelaide"

I rolled my eyes and threw a pillow at him. 

Tyler "and i took a picture"

My jaw dropped "you didn't"

Tyler handed me his phone. I took it and looked at it. 

I smiled when i saw the pic. We were looking cute. 

Tyler "you look cute together"

I looked at him "send me that pic, please"

He nodded "sure"

We were all , except Damon, standing around Caroline. She was writing a to do list for Liz's funeral. Somehow she wanted to do all that today. 

Caroline "You've all asked what you can do to help. There are five day's worth of projects on here. We are going to do them in one. We can break the rules and cut through the red tape. I expect my mom to be properly celebrated and buried by the end of the day."

Matt nodded "Sure, Care. Whatever you need."

We all nodded. 

Caroline "Adi, you're coming with me."

I nodded " Where are we going?"

Caroline "Casket shopping. Let's move!"

We walked through the front door.

Me " You drive."

Caroline stopped walking "Jeremy! I forgot to put him on my list of people to call."

Me "It's okay. I called him."

Caroline gave me a soft smile. 

At Archer and son's funeral home. 

We had found the perfect coffin but now Ms.McGruder was talking to Caroline. 

Ms. McGruder " Your mother was such a vibrant woman. Even after your father ran off with that man."

Me "Thank you, Ms. McGruder. I'm sure we'll see you at the funeral. "
