The Anniversary to Forces (Sonic Forces Celebration!)

Honestly, I'm in tears. I know most people wont actually believe that and think I'm some fan exaggerating how I feel, but this game's release meant everything to me.

I'd like to discuss about the elephants in the room: First, the fact that I'm celebrating this early. In my location its still Oct. 30, which is pretty far from Nov. 7. As someone who isn't happy with all the leaks, I still decided to celebrate early because the game is sadly basically out, even though there's still 9-8 days away till the actual release date. I don't want my celebration of this event to seem to old so I'm doing it sooner.

Second, The Broken Release date of Sonic Forces. Unlike the people of wattpad here, who I have seen with my own eyes to have only expressed interest in the music and cutscenes, I along with some others in wattpad are not happy with this. People got this game before people who payed money to get this before anyone else and it upsets them, and while I didn't, its still upsetting how happy some people here that everything got leaked a week before the official release date. If you are one of them, SHAME ON YOU.

People will probably be shocked that I'm celebrating the release of Forces at all, considering how much I've making fun of it out of pure distaste for some of its concepts and advertising strategies. 

But then I remember how much of my entire year was dedicated to the two games of the 25th Anniversary. The amount of sleep I lost while waiting for news, I GBs of memory wasted from making metas, screenshots and saving pictures of every new screenshot and news, the ammount of people I've met and befriended in the course of this year. The memory is enough to make me tear up.

I might not have been the nicest to this game, but this and long Mania have been my year. I just want people to know how happy I am to be able to watch the development of two wonderful games. I have lots of jokes, and how I feel about the game in general is still a "meh", but the memories that came along with it will be my favorite part.

I'll still celebrate Sonic Forces when it comes out though, featuring some other things I wont put here, but I might combine in my rant book.

This game has been a rollercoaster ride to me. But I'm happy that I got to watch it every step of the way. Project Sonic 2017, which is what I'll call the two 25th Anniversary games as whole, will always the most important part of my entire year.

Thank you Project Sonic 2017. You might not be as famous, highly rated or as anticipated by gamers worldwide, you'll always have the hearts of the people who have cheered you on.

I don't actually remembering what I did to celebrate the Mania Release, but for now I'll celebrate Sonic Forces in two parts:

First will be the compilation of every Forces related cover I've made, just like what I did for Mania back in August. To be honest, I'm not as proud of these as I was with the Mania ones,  especially the last one. More commentary on these will be posted in my rant book, eventually though.
