Elise & "Beastiality"

Ah well I got a pissed lately, mostly because I'm dealing with people who tries to defend Sonadow despite all the arguments I give, and all they keep telling me are some repetitive things that I don't even want to talk about.

Anyway, ignoring that I came upon a topic that I guess I've never really thought of ranting about before. 

SonElise.

Now now, put down your pitch forks and burn your copies of Sonic 06 later. Personally, I'm not really a huge hater of Elise. Infact I am not even that upset about how Sonic 06 tuned out (story-wise, but the game is still glitchy, none the less)

But what did make me feel bewildered is how everyone likes pointing out SonElise automatically as Beastiality.

lol idiots, do you guys even remember what that means? Am I the only who who reads a dictionary? Well for everyone who reads this, I'm gonna copy-paste and quick definition before I start defending Elise.

Okay okay, so I could admit that what Elise felt and did in the whole is sorta wrong, but does she really fall into this category?

Like I said, What Elise did and felt is sorta wrong, but I just dont want to keep seeing Elise being pointed out for beastiality and calling her a bad character just because he kissed Sonic.

Elise is, in all honesty, a pretty well-developed character and is actually an admirable person. Sonic has helped her realize things and learned not to keep everything to herself. He had made such a big impact on her development as a person that she ended up feeling a certain way towards him, because she has met no one who showed her the world the way he did. He has so much impact infact, that even after the events were erased, she can still feel and remember the lessons he taught her. She's at ease now, even.

And that's why she felt affections for him. She wanted him to stay, but he cant.

Was it wrong to her to fall inlove? No. Even if its with someone that isnt even the same species like her, she couldnt help it, because feelings like that isnt something that you can control.

If you're gonna judge SonElise just because she kissed a hedgehog, then right now I tell you that you shouldnt. Kissing him is morally wrong, yes I know that, but that doesnt mean you can judge both the character and the ship from this one fact. 

There's so much going on with Sonic 06 that it's almost so sad that Elise is such a hated character. I know she's a damsel, but its not like she can do anything about it. She is a mere human, who is forced to keep her emotions of sadness to herself, making her weak. She isnt gonna kick ass anytime soon. Though with the power of Iblis, she can make barriers that is used in the gameplay of the game Sonic 06 and she helps with navigation. See? She isnt useless.

And in the defense of Elise, she is actually really brave. Being able to hold your tears for years isnt easy. She's even brave enough to jump off the Egg O Matic just to get away from Eggman, and she even literally sneaks out of Eggman's base, and got some help from Amy too! She might not be that much of a powerful character, but she is pretty capable on her own.

Like I said, I know that what Elise did is morally wrong, and actually seems gross, but that doesnt give any of us to instantly denounce her as bad character. She could have been worse! She could have been better, with more time and thought but what she is now is pretty satisfying,   considering shes a one game only character.

(I can literally take about how its even better than sonadow but I dont wanna do that if it means I'll get a bunch of people being stupid and start yelling at me lol)

Yeah, sorry if this is really short. I will have revisions of this in the future, but right now this is all I have considering how much time I have to make it.
