Percy stepped into the Big House. Connor had left once they reached the door.
"Chiron, you called for me?"
"Ah yes, Percy. Your father has come to visit." He said sitting at the ping pong table in his wheelchair opposite a man who radiated power. His father. Poseidon.
"Why?" He asked coldly, completely ignoring his father's presence.
Chiron stayed silent, waiting for the god of the sea to speak. It probably wasn't a good idea for him to stand in the middle.
"Perseus, I'd like for you to come back to my kingdom and further your training." Poseidon finally spoke, breaking the tension.
"I refuse." Percy bit out.
He sighed. "Perseus-" Percy sent a hard glare at his way. He was perhaps taking one too many liberties, but he was past caring. "Percy. This is not up for discussion. You will be coming back with me whether you like it or not."
"They need me here." Percy raised his chin and stood firm, stubbornly crossing his arms.
"Percy, Camp is currently in no immediate danger." Chiron said softly.
"Yeah, but what if something happens while I'm gone? What if-"
"Then you have my permission to come straight back to help," Poseidon said. He wanted this conversation over for he had tasks to complete in the near future.
"Oh, I have your permission do I? Thanks, it means a lot." The sarcasm slipped naturally into his voice.
"I'm sorry Percy, I have no time for arguing." His father said, standing up.
"What are you-" he waved his hand in front of his face and then all he saw was black.
