Twice Mercury appeared in the Zoroastrian prayer posture, sitting on the floor with crossed legs - this is how the Zoroastrians still pray at home and in the temples. When they listen to the service, their hands are laid on their knees - in this pose Freddie appeared on the cover of the album "The Works". And when they call Mazda, they raise their hands upwards - as Freddie did in one of the episodes of the video clip "Breakthrue".

The cover of the album "The Works". Freddie in the Zoroastrian prayer posture

Often, Freddie held his hand a centimeter from his face, without touching his forehead and nose. After that, he leaned toward the stage, almost touching it with his right hand. From the side it seemed that he was lifting something or putting it down. When the Zoroastrian brings his hand to the nose and face, he thereby expresses the highest love for God. At the Zoroastrian divine services, the priest, when reading special prayers, kisses a rose or a leopard - and the believers symbolically repeat for him this gesture of love for Mazda. And in his last video clip "This Are The Days Of Our Lives", the dying Freddie repeated this gesture.
