The members of "Queen", unlike biographers, were perfectly aware of their status - and did not hesitate of it.

In an interview with Brian May dedicated to his solo work, the interviewer sarcastically asked: "Are you a good singer, do not you think that Mercury has scored you?", Which was immediately followed by the answer: "But Freddie sings better than me." In "Queen" everyone understood perfectly who was in charge - and there was no place for envy.

After Freddie's death, Brian May said in his address to the band's fans: "We were honored to accompany him on a fanciful journey called Queen.

Without Mercury there would be no "Queen" - this is a fact, and biographers are forced to admit it, but with such qualifications.

Among rock musicians, there are really many random, mediocre people whose success is the result of chance or successful promotion. But this does not apply to Freddie Mercury. He is not just a wonderful singer and musician - all Parsi by nature have powerful voices and an absolute rumor - he is also an amazing pianist, dancer, artist, director, showman, designer. He is the only singer in the world with a repertoire and voice range from opera to heavy rock. All his solo projects outside of Queen were a huge success.

Even the creation of "Queen", they are often attributed to Brian May, and sometimes you can find a wonderful message that Freddie "was recruited by those who assessed his opportunities as May and Taylor." They have an amazing ability to put everything on its head! They contradict themselves, and all the literature on the history of the group. Because in almost every book about Queen, Brian May and Roger Taylor testify that Queen is the idea and the brainchild of Freddie Mercury. It was he who persuaded the guys to participate in the creation of a new project, he also owns the name and symbolism of the group, and he was the only one from the very beginning who took Queen not as a hobby and a game, but as a matter of his life. Freddie immediately told his colleagues that the group should be treated seriously and should either not gather at all, or work in full force.

"We did not believe that it could work ... Freddie convinced us ... We succumbed to his pressure ... There was some energy in him ..." - that's who is the creator of "Queen" according to its participants! And as for the popular claim that "Queen" was created on the basis of "Smile" - so Brian May himself, voluntarily dissolved his group and handed over Freddie's lead. Everything is so obvious - but not for biographers.

Freddy was a very handsome man. But in no book about Mercury, Russian - or English-speaking, the word "beautiful" in relation to the main character in general is never used. And if such words are used, then only in a frankly ernic context, for example: "The girls could not believe that their cute idol was gay," or "he was always cheerful, bold and attractive on stage - a real handsome actor." But this, as it turns out, is too good for Freddie, because he immediately adds hastily: "However, in real life he was by no means a handsome man ...".

Another flattering review of Freddie: "He played the guitar, but not very well." Why did they decide this? Just because Queen played May and Deacon on the guitar?

There are video recordings on which Freddie accompanies himself on the guitar - he plays perfectly. Another thing is that in the group this work was performed by more virtuosic guitarists.

Brilliant shows Mercury most biographers called pozyrystv, pretentiousness, pomposity. But here's how Rick Sky describes the unique scenic dances of Mercury:

"He was moving on stage, like a peacock, sniffing cocaine." I wonder if any of you have ever seen a peacock swinging with cocaine! From what pathological, sick imagination could such a "poetic image" have been born ?! And his manipulations with the microphone Rick Sky calls ... imitation of Elvis Presley and James Dean, although their style and style of Freddie have nothing in common!

By the way, if we collect in all biographies those epithets Freddie awards his biographers, we get the following: dissolute, depraved, conceited, calculated, hysterical, selfish, homosexual, bisexual, shocking, capricious, nervous, adventurous, primitive, pompous, vulgar, Insane, indiscreet, pretentious, rousing, vulgar, narcissistic - and this is not a complete list of praise.

But, as soon as it is necessary to note Mercury's contribution to music, biographers are embarrassed. They talk about it with great reluctance and barely draw words. Especially they do not like to talk about what new brought Freddie. If there is no opportunity to talk about your favorite ass and cocaine, then they lose interest in the topic of conversation before their eyes and bump something dullly, causing sudden bouts of drowsiness. They do not seem to understand that their readers are teenagers and young people, with whom one simply can not talk in such a tone. More precisely, they understand. But their goal is to discourage young people from any interest in the work of Mercury.

And if possible, they will keep silent. So, most biographers do not even mention the fact that it is Freddie Mercury who is the inventor of the video clip - that genre of art without which it is impossible to imagine modern life. Those who dared to issue this "state secret", report this in passing, as something insignificant. In the meantime, even if Freddie did not do anything at all - one would be enough to put him monuments in all the centers of show business and forgive everything! But no - a man whose inventions have been living the whole world show business for a quarter of a century have not even been allowed to put a monument in England!

Speaking about the invention of the video clip, biographers, like in the story with the creation of "Queen", try to convince the readers that Freddie has nothing to do with it at all. The guys gathered at the studio, they decided to make a musical film - accompaniment to the song "Bohemian Rhapsody", took the director, and casually, like a piano in the bushes, a video clip was produced. Meanwhile, it was Freddie who designed and directed this first ever clip. Moreover - so far no one has achieved in the production of video clips of the level and skill of Freddie Mercury, his clipmaking creativity is rightly called "revolutionary." But most biographers attribute the success of the Queen's videos to the directors of the studio "Queen Films". In fact, these people are performers, and scenarios and video sequences were developed by Mercury, he was also an actual director, Although his name is never in the credits - the surviving recordings of the video clips clearly demonstrate this. Mercury's solo video in terms of level and quality is in no way inferior to the queen's. It is also known that after the death of Mercury studio "Queen Films" produced video clips. If you evaluate the result briefly - it's a disgrace. Freddie's vocals, too, did not help. "Genius" directors were simple artisans, unable to do anything without Mercury.

Do not believe me - check it out. Watch the video collection "Freddie Mercury. The Video Collection »is Mercury without« Queen », and then look« Made In Heaven. The Films "or any of the video clips shot at Queen Films after 1992 is Queen without Mercury. Look - and compare.

Biographers can not but know this, but they prefer not to mention Mercury's talent once again - and do not tell the readers about any of the dozens of his inventions.

By the way, in the literature on the history of rock music, the fact of the invention of a video clip is also only slightly mentioned. But if there was another singer in Freddie's place, it's hard to even imagine what a storm of enthusiasm the press and biographers would raise!

And with what dislike are they talking about his ingenious work with Montserrat Caballe! And Barcelona is an artificial album created as a result of the installation of the vocals of Mercury and Caballe, and their joint concert performance in Barcelona is a fiction, as Freddie lost his voice and they sang to the soundtrack, and Freddie tore himself up with unbearable work, and himself His performance - a nightmare vision with a fat woman, and Caballe became a small Spanish singer ... But what about their joint performance on Ibis, during which the audience sobbed? But what about the genius music of their joint album, which has become classics? And rave reviews of Caballe about this work?
