Star fleet academy:

I'll never forget that place, I only realise it now, but it honestly changed my life forever. In some ways, it tore me to pieces, and made me hate everything and everyone around me, but at the same time it was the most amazing, wonderful and inspiring place. I would go back to those days in a heartbeat and relive every tear, laugh, and smile that I went through. I remember that night, looking up at the stars with your arm wrapped around me. You told me I had saved you and maybe I did. Maybe I did...

My hands shook as I opened the letter, violently almost. I finally managed to pull the stupid thing out of the envelope and read it. It was one of those moments where you really need to concentrate and focus but my blurry eyes said otherwise. I took a deep breath and read the letter. 'Dear Vienna, blah blah. We are glad to inform you that you have been accepted into StarFleet Academy.' I didn't need to read the rest, I was too busy screaming and jumping up and down.

"Oh my God!! I got in!" I yelled out to my family downstairs.

My younger sister ran up to my room, "you did it!" I nodded happily, wiping some of the tears from my eyes. A mixture of nervousness and excitement spread through me. The rest of the time until I left was just a blur of packing, saying goodbyes and a constant ironing of uniforms.

~
He had deep blue eyes, and curly hair. The air was crisp, thin and cold, so cold... He was standing at the edge of a building, looking downwards. Tears streamed down his face, and I watched anxiously and helplessly. His feet edged closer to the ledge. There was screaming, and he jumped.

I woke up, screaming and in a cold sweat. I looked at my alarm clock, I had to be up in ten minutes anyway. I groaned and rubbed my eyes. It was that same dream again. I stood up wondering around the hotel, today was the day that I officially moved into star fleet academy. I was in the hotel because I lived too far away to far away to just turn up like some people did. I looked in the mirror, wow why did people look so crazily disgusting in the morning? My hair had gone frizzy, but once I brushed it, it would return to its normal, slightly curly state. My hair was a normal kind of length, and a light brown/dark blonde colour.

I had a shower and got ready and did all that morning kinda stuff. I was a bit early, but I decided to leave anyway. I caught the bus to the academy and stood at the entrance. 'This is it...' I thought to myself. I took a deep breath, I was so scared but so excited. It was weird. I walked in, taking every sight and smell in. It was amazing, just absolutely amazing.

We all had our own rooms, which in a sense was disappointing because I wanted a new room mate more than I wanted privacy. I set out the few things I had in my room, and sat there awkwardly thinking, "what now" I pulled out my timetable, classes didn't start till tomorrow, but I was still super excited. I was studying to be the ship's dentist weirdly enough, however I was also doing a few other things like nursing and everyone had a mandatory class where we learnt general ship controls.

I decided to just go explore the place casually, just so I knew where everything tomorrow was. I followed a really bad map around the campus. It was a lit larger than I anticipated. It would take me forever to actually learn my way around this place. Near one of the cafeterias there was a large group of students, probably about my age, hanging around and laughing. One of them looked at me and muttered something to the rest of their group. One of the guys motioned for me to come over, so I walked over. "Hey, are you new this year?" I nodded. "Sweet, so are some of us, you'll probably be in the same class as us, I'm Damien by the way," he said shaking my hand.

"I'm Vienna," I smiled. They all greeted me and introduced themselves. I hung with them for a while. They were all loud, but seemed nice enough. Damien was doing security, he was really tall, like 6'2 or some thing. I was only 5'7 so I felt quite small.

We talked for about an hour, before some of the girls pointed out this other teen our age, maybe a bit younger. He was reading a real book and eating an apple. "That's the Russian whiz kid isn't it?" One of the girls asked. Damien nodded and the rest of them started whispering things and laughing. I didn't say anything, I saw the book he was reading was in Russian. I was impressed, I'd love to speak another language. He kept reading, fairly obvivious to anything really. I was like that sometimes, I would read and become completely lost.

Nothing else much happened after I said goodbye to the people I'd met earlier. I sat I my room, bored and by myself. I went to bed really early so I would be well rested for the next day and because I had nothing better to do.

He had deep blue eyes, and curly hair and he looked like the Russian whiz kid I'd met earlier. He stood at the edge of a building, looking downwards. Tears streamed down his face, and I watched anxiously and almost helplessly. His feet edged closer to the ledge. There was screaming, and he jumped.

Hey hey I see you've stumbled across my story

I hope you enjoy!

This is based on my own one shot about Chekov, I liked the one shot but then I though 'Hey I could write a pretty cool story with this hopefully' so I started writing it and I got all these crazy ideas so yeah... But yeah the one shot was written by me so it's not plagiarised okay... Just making that clear ^_^

As mentioned, this story will contain some strong themes, so I caution all readers. It will possibly include themes and concepts such as bullying, self harm, (a bit of swearing) and suicide. So if you aren't comfortable / triggered by these things, I advise reconsidering reading this.

Many thanks,
