easter | eth

a/n: my writing has gone downhill. i apologize i'm working on it :)

you laughed as ethan walked into your bedroom in the easter bunny costume. "i can't believe you're doing this," you said taking a picture of him on your phone. he shrugged as he walked into your closet, grabbing three easter baskets. "i'll go get them ready," you said leaving your bedroom. you walked into emily's room, rubbing her back, "hey guess what, the easter bunny is here!" you said as she stirred in her sleep. 

"the easter bunny?" she mumbled and you nodded your head excitedly. she shot up quickly, wiping her eyes from the sleep. 

"go down stairs while i wake up your brother and sister," you said and she nodded, leaving her room as you walked across the hall to wake up erick. "erick, the easter bunny is here!" you said excitedly, tickling his sides. he started giggling after pretending to be asleep, "did you get any sleep last night?"

erick shrugged, "maybe like two minutes," he giggled and you laughed at the five year old. 

"okay, get downstairs," you said leaving the room and going to your youngest child's. "hi babygirl," you said picking up the almost one year old. "let's get you a fresh new diaper so we can go see the easter bunny!" you said as you laid ella down on the changing table. 

once you were ready you quickly grabbed your phone as passed your room. you walked down stairs and sat the kids on the couch, starting to record your phone. "okay you guys need to call for the easter bunny, okay?" you asked and emily and erick nodded excitedly, ella just clapped her hands and continued to put toys in her mouth. "okay, go!"

"easter bunny!" both of them screamed. the closet door opened and out came ethan in the bunny suit, fully suited. emily and erick ran towards him as ella started crying, scared of the costume. you awed as you walked over to the baby, picking her up and comforting her. 

"is that mine?" erick asked as ethan held onto a basket filled with transformers. ethan handed him the easter basket. he then handed emily a basket filled with barbie stuff and placed ella's basket next to you, filled with learning toys. 

you smiled as the kids looked at their baskets in awe, "okay wait! now you have to say bye to the easter bunny, he comes only once every ten years to deliver them personally," you said and erick ran up and hugged him. 

"bye!" he said running back to his basket. he then walked out the front door, ethan got out of the costume and ran to the garage, grabbing the carton of eggs. "dad!" erick said as ethan walked in, "you just missed the easter bunny, look what he gave me!"
