- Scorpius and Lily are childhood friends
- As Lily grows older she realises she's fallen madly in love with the boy
- She enters Hogwarts two years after him but their bond is always as strong as before
- Lily's like a little sister to Scorpius, he has no idea that he's the last face that runs through her mind before she falls asleep, the first person she thinks of when she wakes up in the morning
- When Lily is 14, things start to heat up between Scorpius and Rose. Lily's the one Scorpius goes to when he needs girlfriend advice
- Lily plans all his dates, tells him what to say and what not to say
- They spend hours sitting on her bed, chatting by the lake, laying in the grass, but all Scorpius ever talks about is Rose. Rose's hair, Rose's eyes, the touch of Rose's hand against his own...
