When Harry was a baby and James and Lily were at work or the other marauders were they would pass baby Harry around to whoever was next free. To each other, the marauders said each time they passed baby Harry around to the next: "You're it, good luck"
When Sirius died in the fifth book, the last thing that crossed his mind as he passed through the veil and saw Remus running towards screaming Harry is: "You're it, good luck."
I was thinking about this in maths today, I was literally about to cry... Like actually.
