June 4, 6pm:

"RJ? Ililipat mo na ba dito ang Concha's sa condo ko? Grabe! Sobrang dami naman niyan!" M exclaimed when R arrived that evening with several bags of takeouts from his restaurant, Mama Ten and his driver, Eric also had a box of cake each and more bags of food.

R grinned and leaned to buzz M's cheek. "Sabi mo kasi andito sina Ate Niki at di pa kayo nag-dinner kaya eto nagdala na kami. Dinala ko na din lahat ng favorites niyo dun para sigurado."

"Wow! Ayan na ang MANLILIGAW ni Menggay! Daming pa-haves!" Coleen beamed from as she emerged from the bedroom followed by Dean and Ate Niki with Matti.

"May pa-piyesta si Mayor! Grabe siya!" Ate Niki said as R approached all of them and buzzed their cheeks.

"Hep! Wag ka na. May malisya ka." M told her sister Coleen, who was about to step towards R, while placing an arm in front of her neck.

"Ito naman. Masyado ka. Jowa mo na ba yan? Ha? Jowa mo?"

"Hindi pa."

"Oh eh hindi pa pala eh!" Coleen said as she attempted to take another step towards R.

"Hello, Mike." M talked on her phone. "Oo si Coleen..." She smirked at Coleen whose eyes widen and launched at her.

"Menggay!" She said and grabbed M's phone. "Hello, hon." She greeted and walked away from the group.

M giggled as her sister cooed and whispered over the phone while talking to her boyfriend with her back against them.

"Yaaan... Ganyan nga. Kala mo ah." M remarked then raised her eyebrow when she faced R and found him grinning like a fool. "Hoy! Problema mo? Muntanga ka diyan." She said as she poked his nose.

"Di bale nang mukhang tanga eh sa kinikilig ako eh." R said with the wide silly grin permanently plastered on his face.

"Ayiiieee... Nakakainis. Ang orte niyo. Bakit ba kasi hindi na lang kayo maging kayo?" Ate Niki squealed.

"Tanong niyo kay Menggay. Siya tong aarti-arti." Dean said as he took some of the bags from R. "Akin na yan, Kuya. Dalhin ko na sa kusina."

"Thank you, Dean." R smiled.

"Oh eh yun naman pala, Menggay eh. Sagutin mo na kasi tong si Tisoy." Ate Niki said.

"Pakasalan ko na nga daw sabi ni Tatay." M laughed and R blushed.

"Hala si Teodoro. Hindi naman excited ang Tatay ano? Botong boto ah. Okay naman na pala. Go na! Live and let love. Ganoin." M's sister prodded.

"Ate..." M sighed.

"Haaay... Oo na. Sige na. Desisyon mo yan. Take your time pero wag mo namang paabutin na college na si Matti ha?" Ate Niki chuckled. "Halika na kayo, Mama Ten. Sa kusin na muna tayo habang nag-uusap sila." She told MT then turning to M she handed Matti to her and said. "Kayo na muna bahala kay Matti ha? Para ma-inspire kayo. Ay! Para maaliw pala kayo."

R took Matti from M and sat on the couch with him. M followed and sat beside them.

"Sabi sa'yo magulo dito ngayon. Nag-eempake pa nga ako ng ilang gamit." M said as she picked up the items she arranged on the center table earlier and placed them in the bag she was packing for her vacation.

R watched her quietly and sighed as he let Matti squeeze his cheeks and nose.

M looked at him and frowned. "Ano ka ba? Don't look at me like that."

"Like what?" He asked.

"Like a lost puppy. Ang cute. Sige ka. Baka ibulsa kita at ampunin." She grinned.

"Gusto ko naman." He pouted.

"Wag ka ngang nagpapa-cute. Nakakainis." She rolled her eyes.

"Hindi ako nagpapa-cute. Nami-miss na kita." He sighed.

"Ano ba? Bukas pa alis namin."

"Yun na nga. Nandito ka pa lang nami-miss na kita, paano pa yung ilang araw na malayo ka?" R sighed.

"Ano ba, RJ? Lulubog na si Matti sa lalim ng buntong hininga mo. Ilang araw lang naman yun." She said and reached over to hold his hand. "Mami-miss din kita."

"Ehem... Excuse me. Excuse me lang." Coleen interrupted as she went in and got Matti from R. "Kunin ko muna tong bata ha? Kasi baka ang susunod na palabas ay rated PG, dalhin ko lang sa magulang niya. Sige. Tuloy niyo lang yan. Galingan niyo mag-momol este mag-usap pala." She giggled.

"Baliw!" M laughed as her cheeks blushed and threw a pillow after Coleen.

"So... as you were kissing... uhm... saying rather." R smirked and wiggled his eyebrows.

"Ene be? Emeyes ke nge..." M gushed as she tucked her hair behind her ears doing her famous "sumasarabe" move.

R grinned giddily as he watched her in amusement and blushed.

"Eyen ne nge..." M smiled shyly. "Mami-miss kita."

R sighed and raised her hand to his lips then planted a kiss on it. He leaned his cheek on her palm and looked at her intently. "Sobrang mami-miss kita, Menggay. Enjoy ka dun ha? Tapos balik ka dito sa akin. Maghihintay ako."

"Iiieeeh... Ayan na naman yung lost puppy look. Ipasok kaya kita sa maleta ko at isama sa Maldives."

"Pwede ba? Gagawin ko. Flexible naman ako." He beamed.

"Sira. Di pwede. Madaming mamamayan ang umaasa sa iyo. Kailangan ka ng bayan." She grinned. "Babalik din ako. Ako kaya ang alon na laging babalik sa'yo." She winked.

"Uy! Pamilyar yun." He smiled.

"Pamilyar ba? Sinabi kasi yun nung Alden Richards dun sa Maine Mendoza."

"Oo. Mahal na mahal kasi ni Alden yung Maine." He said in more serious tone and stared at M.

M gazed back at him quietly as they sat side by side and hand in hand.

"Hihintayin kita." R told her as a promise and they both knew he did not only mean it for her vacation but also for the day when she finally says yes.

She smiled. "Wag ka lang maiinip. Dadating din ako." 💛🍃
