I've recently gotten a waitress job on the days Austin works at night which is a couple nights a week I just need some extra money for myself and to save up to maybe move out one day in my own place with my kids.

"Dad I'm going to the coffee shop down the street with Lelia do you want anything?" I asked

"No thanks pumpkin I have work to get to" He said kissing my head

I took Leila with me because she wanted to come and Austin wanted to spend some daddy son time with Nevada. The coffee shop was always so packed and the line was always super long but they really had the best coffee and food.

While I was waiting in line I saw someone standing at the waiting counter and he looked familiar to me. He had on a red SnapBack and blonde highlighted hair sticking out the sides and he was dressed in all black. I went over their to wait for my drink and when he glanced over at me I realized it was Alex. He looked different his hair was cut and pushed under his hat and he had highlights and his sense of style was different, he looked really cute.

"Alex is that you?" I asked

"Shit scarlet hey" He said embracing me in a hug

"How are you? I haven't seen you in so long" I said

"I'm good, is this Lelia holy shit she's so big" Alex smiled

"Yeah this is her she is getting so big" I said picking her up

"Hi Lelia" He smiled at her

"She's adorable" He said

"Yeah she is she looks more and more like Austin every day" I chuckled

"What about Nevada how is he?" He asked

"How do you know his names Nevada we haven't talked in so long? Are you and Austin finally friends again?" I asked

"No but rob and Zach are still my friends and they are always with Austin" he said

"Oh well yeah he's good to now he looks like Austins twin" I said

"I'm glad we bumped into each other I've been wanting to hang out with you" he smiled

"Oh yeah have you" I smirked

"Yeah I haven't really been dating since we thought Nevada was our baby" he said

"I haven't dated anyone either I've been trying to get over Austin" I said drinking my coffee

"Oh yeah well how's that going?" He smirked

"It's going good actually I think I'm over him" I smirked

"That sounds good I like to hear that"

Alex and I ended up talking for a few hours before we decided to leave. Alex wanted me to come hang out with him but I had to drop Lelia off with Austin first. I'm sure he isn't gonna be to happy to hear that we're hanging out again.
