I got a call in the early morning from the doctors and they had the news on who my baby daddy was and it was bitter sweet news.
"Austin I gotta talk to you" I said
Austin was sitting on his bed feeding Lelia.
"What is it?" He said
"I just got a call from the doctors"
"And?" He said getting excited
"What do you think" I asked
"I think it's hands down my baby"
"Well your lucky, it is" I said
The smile that came across his face made me smile he seemed so happy that he was gonna have another baby and he seemed even more happy that it was his baby. I don't know if he's generally excited or if it's cause it's not Alex's but he seemed super happy to hear it's his and I honestly was too because that means theirs no half siblings going on and they both have the same parents.
I sat down with Austin and Lelia for a little while and we just watched tv and played with her. I still had to call Alex and tell him the news he's probably gonna be disappointed but everything happens for a reason.
Austins pov
"Hey Alex? Yeah hi how are you" She said into the other end of the phone
I was standing in the kitchen with Lelia on the counter. I wanted to listen in on this conversation they were having. I can't believe she's pregnant again but I'm so happy it's mine I literally would have killed him.
"Ah huh yeah" She said laughing
What the fuck are they talking about get the the bad news scarlet fuck Alex. My subconscious told me to say but I wasn't gonna say it because my daughter was right here and that's the only reason.
"Well Alex I called to say- oh yeah" She got cut off
This fucking kid just get to it scarlet don't listen to his petty bullshit just tell him he's not the father already and that he can move on with his life and away from my family.
"Well Alex I got some bad news, I got a call from the doctor and it turns out Austin is the father" She said
Yeah ha ha Alex suck it. You ain't ever having kids with my baby momma. It's almost sad because when we were younger I always wanted our kids to be friends because Alex and I have been best friends for so long but he just fucked that up himself. I don't think I'll ever forgive him and if I do it won't be for a long ass time.
"Yeah it's kinda crazy how everything turned out but I guess that's how it was meant to be. Yeah I'll talk to you later have a good night Alex bye" She said hanging the phone up
"Well?" I asked
"Well he was upset he wanted to be the dad but he's not so theirs nothing I can do to change it and I wouldn't change it anyway I want my babies to have the same daddy" She said picking Lelia off the counter
"Right baby you want us all to big one big happy family" She said pinching Lelia's cheeks and she laughed
"Were far from a happy family since you don't wanna forgive me" I scoffed
"Jesus Austin, I already told you I forgive you but I'm not trusting you"
"So why can't we be in a relationship and be a happy family" I asked
"Because until I can trust you in someway that I don't even know is possible we're not dating because your just gonna go off and do it again regardless of what happened" She said walking off into the backyard
"Scarlet" I said and she turned around without thinking I took her face and kissed her for a minute and she didn't back away. Lelia started hitting our faces and laughing.
"What's the matter baby did mommy and daddy kiss" I said
"Yeah" She said in her little baby voice "Daddy" She said again
"Why did you do that?"
"Because I love you your the mother of my child, children your pregnant" I said holding her stomach
"I can't lie and say I didn't enjoy it" She smiled
"Well let me give you another one hot momma" I said pulling her face into mine again for a few seconds
"I missed kissing you" She said looking up at the sky
"Remember when we first moved in here and we barley knew each other then I kissed you that day and everything was like sparks" I said
"Yeah I remember when we would sneak around in the middle of the night and share a shower" She smiled at the memory
"Who knew a year later we would be here?" I asked
"Right nobody could have predicted this"
"I never pictured myself dating my step sister and having two kids at 17" I said thinking back
"Me either I really never imagined kids now maybe the step brother thing but kids no way but ever since this little one came into our life it's been a blessing and who knows maybe this baby is a good thing" She said touching her stomach
"Let me say hi" I said getting down on my knees and holding her belly. "Hey their little one this is your daddy we all can't wait to meet you you have a big sister and a mommy and daddy who loves you"
"I can't believe it happened again, when this one is born I'm getting on birth control because we don't need three kids under 2" She laughed
"Yeah 2 under 2 is bad enough" I laughed
"Out ultrasound is next week and we're gonna find out what we're having, I want a boy since we have Lelia and I wanna shop for a boy I feel like it's so much easier"
"He's gonna love his daddy he's gonna be just like me minus the getting a girl pregnant at 16" I laughed
"I always worry that when their older they could follow our footsteps but they need to realize that waiting to get married to someone your gonna stay with and finishing school and being financially able to support yourself and your family is what you need to have before you can start popping the kids out, but it's a teenage mistake and I will always be their for them even if their in this situation one day even if they both are I will always be their support system" She said
"So will I even if we don't work out I will always be their for you and them" I said
