June 15th 2017
Today was the day of our first sonogram for our baby. Today we should find out the sex of the baby and I'm excited because now I could finally go pick out clothes for the gender and buy furniture for the nursery. Our parents still don't know about our secret dating or the fact that I'm pregnant so we're sneaking away today to go to the doctors.
"Are you excited baby" I asked
"Yeah baby I am" He
"Do you think it's a boy or a girl?" I asked
"I think it's a girl" He said
"Really I think it might be a boy" I said
"I want a girl, she'll be a daddy's girl" He said
"No she won't she'll love her mommy"
"We'll see about that"
We pulled up to the doctors office and went inside. Austin held my hand while we went in. Their was a lot of other girls here of all ages young like us and older. Some had their husbands or boyfriends with them and some were just all by themselves. When I was called in I followed the nurse to the back and started to get a little nervous.
"I'm gonna need you to sit on the table here, I'm gonna pull your shirt up and put this sheet on your pants so the gel doesn't get on them" She said
"Okay" I said getting on the table
"The gel is gonna be a little cold" She said
"Shit that's cold" I laughed
"Do you know what your having?" She asked
"No could we find out though" I said
"Would you like to guess, right here is where you can tell" She said pointing
"It's a girl" Austin said his face lighting up
"Is it!" I asked
"It is" She said
"Wow babe you were right the whole time I thought it was a boy" I said
"Your due date is December 8th" She smiled "Congratulations guys here are some sonogram pictures you can make your next appointment at the front desk" She said leaving the room
I got up from laying down and wiped the gel off my belly and pulled my shirt down. I looked at all the pictures and smiled my baby girl was gonna be born this Christmas which is gonna be the best Christmas present ever.
"Baby look how cute" I said handing him the pictures
"She is already so cute, I knew it was a girl" He smiled looking at all the pictures
"I'm trying to figure out who she looks like more" I said
"I think she looks like me" He said
"Turn your face" I said holding the picture of her next to his "Oh my god you guys are like twins, she has your nose and your eyes"
"Really she has your chin though and your ears" He said looking at me and the picture
"Baby she is like your twin" I said
"I can't wait until she's born"
