Thanksgiving day, November 23rd

"Okay everyone dinner is finally ready" Lisa said

Austin and I helped bring all the food out to the big two tables we had set up. Texas was so nice that we had the tables set up outside. Our families mixed together like this made me happy it made me see a future with Austin and hopefully next year we'll all be here with Lelia.

"Texas weather is so much nicer then Florida weather" I said

"Yeah Texas is just warm it's not all humid" Austin said

We all sat together and started digging into all the food we had. It was nice to eat outside but I was starting to get hot because of my pregnancy hormones.

"So Scarlet how did you and Austin meet?"

"Well he was helping my dad and I move in to the new house because our parents are getting married after Christmas time and when we met we kind of just hit it off and kept our relationship a secret until I found out I was pregnant and then I kind of had to tell them" I chuckled

"How cute a little love story" Daniel said

"Shut up" I joked

After dinner 7:52pm

Everyone was having desert while Austin and a couple of his cousins and mine helped wash dishes and clean up the food and tables. The dinner was really nice and it was a different thanksgiving then I usually had it was usually wth my dads side and now their was so many of us mixed together I loved it.

While I was washing dishes I was having sharp cramps and I thought I was gonna throw up any second. I was hoping the food wasn't getting to me because it was really good and I wanted to keep it down.

"Ah these pains suck" I said standing in the bathroom

"Babe are you okay you've been in their a while?" Austin said

"Yeah I'm fine I'm just having cramps" I said holding the sink

Austin came in the bathroom and had a concerned look on his face. He grabbed my shoulders and had me face him.

"What's wrong?"

"I don't know I just all of a sudden had these sharp pains" I said holding my bump

"Your not having contractions or anything your only 37 weeks pregnant your not full term yet" He said concerned

          "I know but people have pre term babies it's not good though I don't want her to be born yet theirs still 3 more weeks" I said grabbing my stomach again

         "Do we need to go to a hospital?"

         "I don't know go get my dad he'll know what to do" I said

           Austin came back quickly but not with just my dad his aunt was here and his mom. My dad was the most concerned and pushed through everyone to make sure I was okay.

         "Scarlet are you okay what's wrong?" My dad asked

         "It hurts my stomach I keep getting these pains every once in a while" I said

        "We need to time how far apart they are" Lisa said

          "If they get to close together we're gonna have to go to the hospital we don't want you having this baby 3 weeks early" Michelle said

         "Okay lets go sit here down Austin get her some water or something" My dad said

           My dad walked me to the couch and my cousin Cameron was the person I was closest to in the family. He took my pregnancy hard. He came rushing in from outside all concerned and worried about me.

"Scarlet are you okay oh my god don't have the baby yet" Cameron said

"Cam relax I'm fine I just keep having pains" I said

"I can't fucking believe this kid" He said putting his arm around me

"Who!"

"Austin it's his fault your fucking pregnant he's lucky I didn't kill him" He said

"Don't Cameron leave him alone" I said

"Here baby" Austin said giving me water

I sat down for a little while but my cramps started getting closer together and that's when I figured out that these were contractions and not just cramps. I was starting to get super worried because I wasn't ready for this I thought that I would have 3 more weeks to prepare for the birth.

"I think we need to go to the hospital" Michelle said

"We can't she's not supposed to be born yet" I said

"I know honey it's gonna be okay we're all here for you" Michelle said holding my hand

"Okay mom drive us their" Austin said getting me off the couch

"I'm coming" Cameron said

My dad, Cameron, Lisa and Austins mom, Austin and I all got in the car and drove to the nearest hospital. I was trying not to freak out and relax a little so my blood pressure wouldn't be too high.

When we got their Austin ran up to the front desk to tell them and then some nurses came back with a wheelchair and rolled me down to a labor and delivery room. Everything was happening fast so when I finally got to sit down in the bed after they poked me with needles and checked my vitals and hers they left.

"I'm so nervous" I said "Stay in their a little longer baby girl"

"I know I'm freaking out right now" Austin said pacing around the room

"Relax honey go sit with her" Michelle said

"I know mom I'm just freaking out right now" He said

"I know you are this is scary we're all scared but you need to support each other" Michelle said

Austin came next to me and sat their holding my hand. He kept telling me everything was gonna be okay and I was hoping he was right. A little while later the doctor came in to tell us what was going on.

"So you are in active labor and we're not gonna stop the labor because you are 37 weeks and theirs no stopping this baby" She said

"So I'm gonna give birth today later oh my god no" I said

"Relax don't worry everything gonna be fine we're gonna take good care of you and your baby don't you worry about a thing" She said

"How soon do you think I'm gonna have her?" I asked

"It's unsure right now we're gonna have someone come in and break your water for you and then we're gonna take it from their" She said

The nurse came in to break my water and it hurt a lot because she stuck something inside to puncture it. It felt pressure and then it felt like I peed myself their was so much water everywhere. After that the labor began and I was shitting myself. Austin looked just as scared as me all the color from his face was drained and his beautiful blue/green eyes faded into a light grey/blue.

"It's gonna be alright babe we're gonna be great parents" I said holding his hand

"I know we are in just scared of this part" He said

"Me to, but we can be scared together" I said and he smiled
