Chapter 26 She is a Lopez

Nakalabas ng hospital si Grizelda at pansamantalang sinamahan ito ni Nadine. She doesn't want to stay in her brothers house kaya para hindi ito mag alala pa ay nakiusap kay Nadine to accompany her for a few days. Me on the other hand are still absorbing the knowledge that Architect Lopez is indeed Grizelda's grandfather which is one of my lolo's best friend.

Bago ko pa malaman kay Grizelda I already have a hint but I want to make sure kaya habang binabantayan si ko siya I used my spare time to search about the Lopez family. Kahit alam kong may possibility na limited lang ang information ng pamilya dahil sa pagiging prinado ng mga ito I still try my luck. It is not easy, sa dami ng Lopez sa Pilipinas baka mamuti na ang buhok ko ay wala parin akong nahahanap na information about them. There are lots of names on the list from businessman to politics to ordinary people but there was one name that caught my attention not because he was a well known architect but for the reason that he graduated in our university. I click his name and boom Dominic Lopez. Very limited ang information about him kaya mas lalo akong naging interesado sa buhay ng Architect. I research as well his family tree pero limited lang talaga. From what I've read pribadong tao ang pamilya nito kaya kahit pangalan ng mga kamag anak ay walang nakasaad. To whom he is related? Karamihan sa mga naka publish ay tungkol noong nag aaral palang ito and a few information after he graduated. Siya pala ang kaunaunahang studyanteng nag top 1 sa board from our university kaya naging maugong ang pangalan nito.

After a few hours of searching I've decided to stop for a while but when I'm about to close my phone isang site ang nakaagaw pansin sakin The Lopez group of companies.  From what have been written pagmamay-ari ito ng isang kilalang pamilya sa Manila but names haven't been disclose to the public. I dig more information but to my dismay I've got nothing. Titigil na sana ako ng may mahagip ang mga mata ko. It is about an article of a certain event. There are some photos but you can barely recognize their faces hence, Architect Lopez stands out from the rest maybe because the photographer focuses more on him. There was one photo that really caught my attention. The architect was with the two kids who are smiling while holding the hand of the Architect. Napakunot ang noo ko ng mabasa ang pangalan ng mga ito. It is stated only their initials.

Nakakaintriga kaya I tried ko get more and more information about his family. According to it, ang panganay na anak ng architect ang siya ngayong namamahala ng kumpanyang naiwan ng ama katulong ang may bahay nito. May ilang larawan din akong nakita but most of it are old photos. Hindi ko rin masabi kung sino ba sa mga ito ang anak ng architect.

As I continue my search I saw a lots of photos but wala na ang architect sa mga ito. I scan more and got cha! so this man is the son of the architect. Ramon Lopez with his wife Claudia Lopez. Pinakatitigan ko ang larawan ng mga ito their smiles looks familiar. For sure I've seen that smile before. I close my eyes trying to figure out but all of the sudden a smiling face of a girl pop up in my head. When I open my eyes my hearts beats so fast. The answer is just in front of me.

"Baby girl may bisita ka." Sigaw sakin ni Ate Nadine mula sa kusina. Bigla kasi nitong naisipang magluto. May new recipe daw kasi siyang natutunan mula sa mahal niyang si Kurt.

"Sino ate." Nagmamadali akong bumaba ngunit halos matisod ako ng mapagsino  ang taong naghihintay sakin sa sala. Tumayo ito at kaagad lumapit sakin.
