Hurting you was the last thing Derek ever wanted to do. Yet there you were, dying in his arms because of him. For months he had been begging to give you the bite. He wanted you to be able to protect yourself and be like him. But for months you kept saying no. One day you finally said yes and he was overwhelmed with joy that you had agreed. But almost instantly your body started rejecting the bite. Your body was shaking and your face was drenched with sweat. "No no no Y/N. Your body has to take the bite, it-it has to." You wanted to smile but the pain was to unbearable to even try. You held onto his hand as tight as you could and looked up at him. "Hey it's okay. You'll be okay." He shook his head and wiped the tears from his eyes. "No I don't care about me. You're not okay. I'm not okay if you aren't." You could feel your eyes slowly closing. "I love you, Derek." "Please don't Y/N. Please I love you." He begged as your body went limp. "It's all my fault."
