You didn't know Derek for very long but you trusted him. You wouldn't open up to anyone else but him. One day while you two were hanging out, he asked you about yourself. He wanted to know who you are and the things you liked. He didn't expect you to open up about your personal life just yet. Since you did trust him, you started to talk about everything and anything you liked and disliked. You wouldn't stop talking but he didn't mind. He loved your voice and he loved how your eyes lit up when you talked about your love for books and puppies and frozen yogurt. "Oh god I've been talking for hours, I'm so sorry." You apologized. He looked at you and smiled. "Don't apologize. I love listening to you talk."
