One day later
(Narrator's POV)
Ricky sits lost in his thoughts. He must figure a way to get Alice to forgive him. He is hopelessly in love with her. He needs her to be his wife, to be a mother for Sarah. He cannot let this belief go, it is in his every waking thought. Somehow he must do this.
He does not care about Emma or Ben, they are only partly of Alice's flesh. King James claims the other part. Ricky's hatred for the king over rides all else. They are not worthy of her, but his Sarah would fill the emptiness until he and Alice can have children of their own. Ricky's mind works at a plan that does not include Ben and Emma but only the kidnapping of Alice. It will be much easier to kidnap only one instead of three he reasons.
