In the blink of an eye, a month passed in a city that was getting slowly familiar to Amit.

Whenever he meandered through the streets of the capital in his free time, he felt a sense of freedom, which he only ever felt while playing flute in his village. It wasn't that he hated the place. He loved the less chaotic and a hustle free life of it. But somehow, the less chaotic atmosphere was often broken by those people who claimed to be peace lovers. And here, despite the busy life, he was content as people didn't care about his caste and what class he belonged to.

As he stayed one more day in Delhi, his confidence grew even more and the interactions with people increased too. For him, this new and captivating city was proving to be lucky and it was as if a door of a plethora of opportunities was opened for him and just for him.

Apart from doing his job sincerely, there was one thing he was excited about, and that was the upcoming fresher's eve.

Although it was an evening for students where the new ones performed to get to know the old ones, Amit too got an opportunity to perform on the same stage as he was new too. This was something he had dreamt- performing on a stage. And now, as he had gotten this opportunity, however small it was, he thought of making the best out of it as he not only would be proving himself as a teacher but as a musician too; he was ready for it.

In between learning something new every day- from learning how to travel in a metro to buying vegetables in a market, the image of a fiery girl with foul mouth did pass his mind.

He couldn't help but go back to that day in the shop where he not only had ended up buying a flute but also, had ended up remembering a girl who seemed rude. Yet her image wasn't easy to forget.

Putting those thoughts aside, he started to get ready for another musical day at work as not only he but students too came to practice a lot for the big day.

It was a busy day, which flew in teaching many students basic notes on flute and helping some others with their song for the fresher's eve.

After getting home, and changing to some informal wear, he started to go to the shop to pay for the flute he had bought a month ago. He had gotten his monthly salary today, so he decided it was time for the payment.

As he walked around the corner to the street of the shop, he saw a small crowd forming in front of the 'Musician's Place'. At a distance, he heard a familiar voice say, "Hmm...Nah...low class,"

It was Avni's.

After hearing the word 'low class' he chided himself for even remembering a girl who was not at all beautiful from the inside. Despite his controlled demeanor, that sentence somehow disturbed him. But he sullenly made his way in the same direction.

He was just going to pay for his purchase. No other thing was his concern, he reminded himself.

"Okay, now. I got these. I don't need the rest. You all, move on. Don't make a show out of nothing," her voice traveled with authority, and after hearing her command, everyone darted away.

She too made her way inside without seeing him.

As always, when he entered, the bell above the door chimed. Avni looked up from the reception desk.

"Hello, how may I help you?" she asked politely when she saw him.

"I would like to meet the owner," he was struggling to keep his voice neutral, but somehow his tone came out as very stern.

"She is out of town, will not be here for a few days. If you need any other instrument, I can help you with it,"

Why is she being so nice when all she can do is make pathetic remarks on people? he thought to himself and uttered the very first words that came in his mind.
