Disclaimer: Every love story is unique and has it own challenges. There were certain aspects of relationship such as that of Ricardo and Menggay in OLSL that we intentionally left out or simplified owing to the romcom nature and so as not to over-complicate the story but in real life should be considered

Song featured: The Love I Found In You by Jim Brickamn. This has never been used in any KS episode for Aldub/Maichard but perfect in summing up the love between our Ricardo and Menggay. It goes both ways.

At the end of the day, love is a conscious decision that you make and continue to make everyday so your happily-ever-after can become a reality. And just like any decision, you have to support it to make it work. Most of the time, it's just a matter of knowing what is important to you and what makes you happy.

TAPE Studio July. 2017

There's a quiet excitement on the live telecast of the last episode of the show for this season, as if everybody knows that something important is about to happen.

"Mga dabarkads, bago po kami magbabye sa inyo, may sasabihin po si Chef Elize" a teary-eyed Ryzza announced. The audience fell silent upon hearing Ryzza's words.

Meng took the center stage. "Hello dabarkads. Another season-ender na naman po. Sana napasaya namin kayo sa season na ito. Pagbigyan n'yo po sana ako at gusto kong magkuwento. Hindi n'yo po naitatanong, bago po nagsimula yung last season ng Cooking with Chef. E and Ryzza, more than a year ago to be exact, medyo magulo po yung isip ko kasi nagdadalawang-isip ako kung gagawin ko itong show o i-pupursue ko po yung isa ko pang pangarap, ang mag-aral sa ibang bansa para po dagdagan pa yung skills ko sa ibang bagay na gusto kong gawin. Nanghingi po ako ng sign at yung nakuha kong sign ang nagdala sa akin na makilala yung pinakaimportanteng tao sa buhay ko ngayon other than my family. Kilalang-kilala n'yo na po siya at alam n'yo naman po kung paano kami nagkakilala at paano rin naghiwalay ang landas namin sa Mindoro. Hindi ko po tinuloy yung pag-aaral at itunuloy and 2nd season ng show para sa inyo at para mabigyan ng pagkakataon na magkita ulit kami. And the rest they say is history. Salamat po sa patuloy nyong pagsuporta sa mga naging desisyon ko sa career ko at sa personal na buhay ko at pagtanggap sa taong mahal ko."

RJ went to the stage and put his arms around his fiancee who's starting to become emotional with her announcements.

"Kaya ngayon po, another season is ending, I'm at a crossroads again pero may kasama na akong gumawa ng desisyon. Ayun, eto na nga po. It's with mixed feelings and emotions that I'm announcing that I will be taking a one year break from the industry. Ito po ay para i-pursue yung ibang interes ko sa buhay, ituloy ang pag-aaral at kasabay na rin po ang paghahanda sa susunod na phase ng buhay naming dalawa. Hindi po naging madali ang desisyon na ito pero sana po maintindihan n'yo na matagal ko na rin pong gustong gawin ito pero at least ngayon may kasama na po ako. Pangako po na babalik ako, puwedeng hindi lang sa harap ng camera kundi malay n'yo po, pati na rin sa ibang aspect ng production na rin. Malungkot po ako na matagal tayong hindi magkikita pero masaya na naiintindihan n'yo po ang desisyon ko. Promise po na hindi kami masyado magpapa-miss. At dalawa na po kaming magpopost dahil sa wakas po, may twitter at facebook accounts na rin si Professor RJ Faulkerson."
