OPQ Day 5 - Thursday
Paolo was surprised to see Meng already awake very early the next morning.
"Insan, aga yata natin nagising, ah. Hulaan ko, mahimbing tulog mo no? Siguro nakangiti ka habang natutulog." When he heard no response, he looked and there she is, gazing dreamily at the yellow flowers.
"Huy Meng! Gising! Natulala ka na diyan."
"Ha? Anong sabi mo?"
"Malala na yan insan. Biruin mo, kinikilig ka sa gulay!"
"Tse! Inggit ka lang. Pero akalain mo kuya Poch, hindi ko kilala itong bulaklak ng kalabasa samantalang nag-Culinary Arts ako."
"Minsan kasi mamalengke ka, marami niyan sa Bulacan. Kaya lang Meng, hindi naman sa KJ ako, pero baka masyado kang nalilibang. Okay lang kiligin, pero yung problema na pinunta mo dito, napag-isipan mo na ba?"
"Hindi naman nawawala yun kahit saan ako magpunta dito. Iniisip ko pa rin."
"And? What's the progress? Are you close to making a decision?"
"Final decision, wala pa, but getting there. What I realized is, without the noise of the city life, I'm learning a lot about myself. Ano ba talaga gusto ko sa buhay, what are the things important to me, what I can't live without. Ganon. Ang labo ba?"
"Makes sense. Eh yung bago mong problema, napag-isipan mo na?"
"Anong ibig mong sabihin?" she was surprised at the question. May bago akong problema?
"Anong araw ngayon?"
"Thursday"
"Bukas?"
"Friday, next day Saturday. Anong point Kuya Poch?"
"Meng, dalawang araw na lang, uuwi na tayo. Magpapakilala ka ba sa kanya?"
The question rendered Meng speechless.

It was time for the training.
When Jose and Wally were sure that RJ has already made his daily trip to the forest to get materials, they called Meng to come to the activity center.
At the completed partition of the center now sits a group of natives, numbering around 20, looking in amazement at the still unfinished room.
Wally stood up in front and with the aid of an interpreter told the audience what they will expect in the next 30 mins to 1 hour. He then introduced Meng to deliver the training.
She was about to start when somebody barged in and stopped the session. "Anong nangyayari dito? Kuya Wally, anong ginagawa niya sa harapan?" It's RJ.
"Ah eh, nakisuyo kami ni Jose sa kanya na siya magconduct nung unang part." Wally tried to explain.
"Puwede po tayo mag-usap sa labas, kuya Jose, Kuya Wally? Meng, excuse us ha?"
With as much calm as he could muster, RJ tried to get explanation from the two. "Bakit hindi po ako na-inform? Malinaw yung usapan natin kahapon. We have a plan, so we execute the plan. At assignment n'yo ito."
