"Jeffrey, wake up," I said with a low voice as I sat up.

"Babe" He groaned, turning around in his sleep.

"I'm not feeling well" I whispered, looking at him.

"Mmmm" Jeffrey groaned, rubbing his arm.

"Jeffrey..wake up," I said again, grabbing his arm, trying to get his attention.

"Babe.. go to sleep, It's still night," He said, slowly opening his eyes.

"Jeffrey" I cried out, looking down at my stomach.

"Whats wrong?" He asked, finally getting up.

"I'm not feeling well" I sniveled, rubbing my stomach.

"Where does it hurt?" He asked, tucking a hair behind my ear.

"I feel like I'm going to throw up," I said, closing my eyes.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know that you were feeling unwell" He apologized, squeezing my hand.

"I'll get you some water," He said, unzipping the tent.

"Thank you" I replied and rested my head on the pillows.

Jeffrey climbed out of the tent and walked over to the car to get the water bottles.

"It's really dark outside," He said as he entered the tent.

"I know, it's only 2:30 am," I said, rubbing my eyes.

"Here you go sweetheart" Jeffrey replied and handed me a water bottle.

"Emma?" Jeffrey asked, looking me deeply in the eyes. "Are you pregnant?" He questioned and held my hand.

"I don't know" I replied, taking a sip of my water.

"Emma, you don't have to hide anything from me, you know that," He said and rubbed my palm gently.

"The first test was positive, but the last test showed negative" I sighed, looking away.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He asked, running his fingers through his beard.

"I didn't want to give you high expectations" I replied, covering my mouth with hands.

"Are you okay?" Jeffrey asked as I climbed out of the tent.

"No" I replied and vomited.

Jeffrey climbed out of the tent and held my hair back.

"I'm here" He whispered, rubbing my back with his other hand.

Jeffrey's POV

I packed the car while Emma was lying down on the back seat. She looked so exhausted.

I grabbed a blanket in the trunk and opened the car door.

"Thank you for taking care of me," Emma said and smiled.

"You're my fiancé, it's my job" I chuckled, wrapping the blanket around her.

"I love you," She said and squeezed my hand.

"Let's get back to our cottage," I said, closing the door.

Within minutes we arrived at the front of our cottage. I helped Emma inside the cottage and slowly placed her on the bed.
