Mr. Joules's house was a very large rusty red wooden house. It was a three store and had a porch in the front and back of it with apple trees surrounding it and all throughout the feilds. Joules led the way slowly troting threw the grassy feilds and Nalen walked alongside of me. I looked up at him but he didnt realize i was staring, he wore a loose white shirt and levi blue jeans, with a small shiny watch on his wrist and a light xhain around his neck. He stared off at the trees and had this very hidden smile on his lips. But i could mostly see the enjoyment in his eyes.

Getting to the porch, i slowed my pace some and Mr. Joules turn slightly to look at me "child, you do not have to do this, i know that in the house some dark things happened to you..."

"Please, I'm staying" i told him dismissing his offer.

He turned slidding a key in the door and opening it up "come on then" he led and i followed him into the house. Nalen closed the door. His home smelled like cool pumpkin spices and morning dew, with a neutral color theme and carpeted floors. It was easy to feel at home here, and we followed him to a large space with picture filled walls a fireplace in the corner with a television plastered on the wall above it. A coffee table sat in the middle of the room with brown cloth draping over it. There was a long tan couch, a love seat and a pawpaw chair in a U shape arpund the wall.

"You have a very nice home Mr. Joules" Nalen complimented shoving his hands in his pockets as if he was afriad to break something precious and dire to Mr. Joules. I crossed my arms thinking the same think and watched as Nalen walked around looking at the many pictures on the wall.

"Thank you" Mr. Joules smiled wide happy with the comment Nalen made "you'll find as you get older how clean a house stays as you age"

"Not much moving around as once, i assume"

"Very much so my friend" Mr. Joules despite his easy voice had a very deep gurgling chuckle and cleared his throat "now, you to have a seat. Would you all like a drink?"

"I'm fine" Nalen waved the gesture off

"I would" i said clearing my throat looking around still. Mr. Joules gave me a light smile with careful eyes and a welcoming nod and dissapeared into the hallway. I hadnt realized the breath i was hold in until he left and i let it out pressing my hand on the top of my head.

Nalen turned to me and tilted his head in concern "he's taking his time on purpose" he says "just in case you have second thoughts"

"She's still alive" i blinked feeling my eyes hot "she was so sick and fragile when i ran away i thought she was long gone but she's not"

Nalen began to speak but Mr. Joules came woddling back in qith a glass cup in his hand. I reached for it and thanked him taking a sip of the cold sweet tea. "I will go to the back of the house to check on your Nanna for you, in the mean time, just take a seat"
