Hatspehut

"In the darkest of our days we search for light. We search for a light to lead us into promised peace. The opposing side that declared war has told you they have found the light. They tell you that this light will lead you that this light will lead you, you that are not as they to freedom, but this is wrong. The light in which our enemy leads you to is nothing but more darkness. I will be true with you, the dim light shed on us by the vampires is a dull one, not true, not real. We have lived in this dark for near a decade, and even me, the Queen of Vampires, Empress of Werewolves are in the dark with you. I tell you all my brothers and sisters human, werewolf, vampire, fairy, and other species I cannot be in light while you are in dark. The enemy's freedom leads you all to a blade of cold steel that will be the end of you. I tell you all this, and it will be my word and that of my wife's. Any woman or man of any species that fights for me and my wife will have what you have all wished for almost ten years, you will all have your freedom. Volunteer at any of the forts, fight with us, on my honest word freedom will be yours. Fight for the true light before the dark lies of our enemy consumes us all.

                                                                               Empress Hatspehut Hawthorne

Queen and High Luna Saryia Hawthorne"

"Very well written baby girl. Because of your inspirational letter over 400,000,000 people have volunteered to be in the army." Saryia kisses my cheek putting down my letter. It went public last week, and it has crossed the world like wildfire. Many Vampire nobles have committed to war, some have young families and want them to be protected. Like my father did during the first war we are sending all the little children underground. Dad made Apollo memorize every hideout so he would remember if I showed him a map of the US.

"What?" Saryia cups my chin and makes me look at her. Her precious light blue eyes stare deeply into my dark brown pools.

"I have to deal with my brothers. I was going to allow them to decide where their territories would be, but I'm choosing for them. I already have Odin's, I have to show Apollo his literately... I'm going to have to travel to the territory with him." Saryia raised her eyebrows then shook her head.

"Your not traveling now, or at least when the snow starts to melt." I nod and lean on her. I trace my fingers over the keys of the piano, then look back at Saryia.

"Play something for me." Saryia smirks then shakes her head no.

"I really should get rid of this piano, its nothing, but a bad memory." Her eyes dim with sadness as she puts the lid on the keys. My wolf whines and wants to know the cause of this pain.

"What happened here, you can tell me you've seen my progress with the shrink... I mean counselor." Saryia chuckles and kisses my cheek again. Holding me close to her body and lets out a sigh.

"I bought this piano for the second to last pet, two girls before you. Her name was Dawn, she was about 5'6, blueish green eyes, milky skin, blonde hair, very shapely, and she was a hunter."

"A hunter!?" Saryia nods.

"I thought they were extinct!" I exclaim again. Hunters used to hunt all types of non-human species. There goal was to make a world all for humans. At a time all the species came together and annihilated the hunters, or so we thought I guess. Saryia chuckles then puts her chin on my shoulder.
