They cleaned up and walked downstairs where their moms were sitting on the couch.

Both mothers raised an eyebrow at the boys.

"Where were you two?"

"Oh we..um..nothing."

Michael's face was red.

"Almost there Mikey, ahh i'm gonna-yeah I didn't think it was nothing.."

Liz said with a certain look on her face.

Both of their faces turned red and they just stood there.

Karen was laughing her ass off.

"Anyways, you feeling better now Michael?"

Michael only nodded, still embarrassed.

Liz nudged her son's arm, and Luke's eyes widened then he ran upstairs.

Liz told Michael to wait right where he was standing.

Karen had no clue on what was happening.

Michael stood there with his arms crossed, he was starting to grow impatient.

Luke then came back with his hands behind his back.

"What are you hiding, Hemmings?"

Michael asked.

"Oh, nothing much but.."

He kneeled in front of Michael, bringing the item behind his back in front of him.

"I thought about how much I loved your eyes the first day I saw you.

I remember how you were a bit shy then opened up to me.

I remember the first time I had to spend the day with you, best day of my life.

I remember the first time you kissed me on your couch and you wanted us to be more.

I remember the time I showed you how much I loved you, and I still do.

I remember nearly having a heart attack from hearing that you died.

I remember the time you came back to me, for me, because you're stronger than what the doctors expected.

I remember the time I asked you to marry me.."

"But that didn't-"

Luke opened the black box and inside held a silver ring with a light pale green gem.

Michael started crying heavily, falling back onto the couch, frantically nodding.

Luke laughed and went to go kiss his baby.

Michael hugged Luke like there was no tomorrow.

After all that, Luke slid the ring on Michael's left ring finger.

Karen clapped and wouldn't stop staring at the pretty ring.

"I put something inside of it."

Michael took off the ring to read the inside.

"Thank you for being strong, lovely.

Thank you for coming back to me.

I love you to death and beyond Michael Clifford."

And just when they thought Michael was done with tears, they came back.

Worse than before.

"Take care of my baby, Luke."

Karen patted his back.

"Believe me I will."
