"Lucas, please go get the mail."

Luke groaned and rolled his eyes the dropped his phone on his bed.

He slid on his converse, tying them in a double knot.

Sadly, the mailbox is all the way across the driveway.

So that means he has to actually put in effort to walk all the way over there.

Once he made it, he looked through the names.

There was never mail for him, nobody writes now-a-days.

He stopped flipping when a name popped up.

One that didn't live in the hemmings household, actually it was just across the street.

Luke was about to just throw it across, but that would mess up whatever was in the envelope.

So, being the nice person he is, he walked to the other side.

He knocked on the door politely and waited.

He heard shuffling and yells.

"Go get the door!"

"Alright, alright."

The door unlocked and revealed a boy who's hair was all over the place.

It was blonde and his eyes were green.

"Can I help you neighbor?"

He gave a big smile.

Luke shook his head, he had to focus.

"Well, I think this is your mail.."

Luke held up and envelope that said it was for Karen Clifford.

And Luke didn't think it was possible, but the boy's smile got even wider.

He quickly grabbed it and ran to his mother.

"Mom!

My results came in!"

"That's great!"

"Our neighbor gave it to us."

"Oh well, glad that people are nice around here."

Karen was at the door, she shook Luke's hand and thanked him for the mail.

"If you don't mind me asking, results for what?"

Her face turned to a frown.

"It's not-it's nothing.."

"Luke."

"Right, okay.

Well this is Michael."

Michael gave a shy smile and a wave.

"I think you should be going Luke."

"Right..

Cya."
