Luke was choking on his tears, at the moment he was the happiest man alive.
"I'm sorry, I couldn't be strong."
Luke stood there, watching the boy with a weak smile on his face.
The line was moving but slowly.
Getting slower.
Michael's eyes started to close, but he tried holding them open.
"No baby, baby please stay awake for me.
Karen call somebody!"
Karen was already out the door, getting someone.
"Please.
I can't lose you again.
Mikey, keep your eyes open."
"Luke, maybe it wasn't meant to b-be."
"Michael I swear to god, I'm not letting you die on me again."
Doctors flooded the room and again, they pushed Luke and Karen out.
"Here we go again."
Luke sighed.
