Chapter 28, Rescue

Lucy's Pov, 

It had nearly been an hour. I was at the entrance to the water front with Mard Geer who was looking at a watch. I noticed a gun on his side as I had to find a way out of here. I knew his men were hiding in the shadows. I took a deep breath as Natsu's car pulled up. Gray soon stepped out walking over holding my Aunt's Journal. "You nearly ran out of time" Mard Geer grabbed my arm and pulled me close to him. His grip was painful. "Want the book or not?" Gray asked upset, his voice filled with venom

"Remember what I said before Miss Heartfilla, I will be in touch" Mard Geer whispered in my ear, sending chills down my spine. Gray must of noticed as his hands turned into fist. I was soon pushed into Gray as Gray sighed and passed Mard Geer the journal. "Have a good night everyone" Mard Geer then walked off down to the water front. Gray pulled me into a tight hug as I hugged back my eyes watering. "Your ok now" Gray whispered as I heard a car door open and close. I pulled away from the hug shaking my head.

"H-he told me he would be in touch" I whispered as Gray's eyes widen. I was then pulled into another hug but this one was warm. I looked up to see Natsu. I hugged back as Natsu kissed my forehead. "He won't Lucy, trust me" Natsu whispered as he had his old bad boy signature smirk. I was confused but soon there was an explosion from down the water front. "Time to go" Gray then mumbled as Natsu pulled away from the hug. D-did these idiots plan that? We was soon rushing into Natsu's car as we drove off.

We headed back to the Heartfilla mansion. Once we was outside I got out the car to see everyone rushing over. Jellal, Erza, Mira, Laxus, Levy, Gajeel, Juvia, Michelle and Elfman. They pulled me into a tight group hug. "Lucy you shouldn't of made that deal to be alone with that creep" Levy cried out her eyes watering pretty bad. This started me off. I felt tears go down my cheeks as I just hugged her tighter. "I couldn't let you and Juvia get hurt" I then replied. After the hugs was a ton of questions from everyone.

I answered as best as I could as they was all asking at once. It all stopped when Natsu shouted at them upset and dragged me into his car. Natsu got into his cars driver side and started it up. "Thanks" I smiled at him as he smiled at me. "Anything for you Lucy" Natsu whispered putting his hand on my cheek for a second and then removed it to drive. He drove us back to our home in the Dragneel Mansion even though its basically right across the road from the Heartfilla one. Once we got there Natsu grabbed my hand and took me inside. 

Once we got inside Natsu pulled me into a tight hug. I smiled hugging back. "Your home" Natsu whispered, the relief in his voice was pretty noticeable. "Natsu" I whispered as I felt my eyes watering once again. I really shouldn't cry but I couldn't help it. One point I did really think it was the end. Natsu pulled away from the hug but kept me close to him. One of his arms were around my waist, pulling me close to him as he placed his free hand on my cheek. "Your not aloud to leave my side for awhile now Lucy" Natsu then whispered.

I couldn't help but smile at him. "Alright" I whispered back as Natsu pulled me into a kiss. I couldn't help but kiss back, melting into the kiss. I was soon pushed onto the wall as we pulled away for air. Natsu started to kiss down my neck as I bit my bottom lip. Then well lets just say things got heated up from there.....

The Next Day, Juvia's Pov, 

Juvia woke up to have Gray-Sama pulling her close to him. Juvia couldn't help but smile and go a little red as Juvia placed her head on Gray-Sama's chest. Juvia listened to his heart beat, calming her. "Morning Juvia" Gray-Sama whispered as Juvia was shocked at first, sitting up looking at Gray-Sama. Gray-Sama was smirking as he pulled Juvia on top of him. "Where do you think your going?" Gray-Sama asked his arms around Juvia's waist as he kept Juvia still on him. Juvia's cheeks were on fire.

"N-no where Gray-Sama" Juvia answered as Gray-Sama sat up, using his arms to then place me on his lap. Gray-Sama gave Juvia a quick kiss. "Good" Gray-Sama whispered as Juvia placed her arms on Gray-Sama's shoulders. Juvia couldn't help but think her lucky she was. How lucky Juvia was to have Gray-Sama....

Meanwhile, Levy's Pov, 

Gajeel hasn't left my side all last night or this morning. It was kinda cute. I was sitting in his lap in our home, reading a book. "Done yet Shrimp?" he asked as he was leaning back onto the wall behind him. "Nope" I answered as I was leaning back into him. "How many pages?" he then asked as I then checked. "Over 1000" I answered as he sighed. He soon wrapped his arms around me, snuggling his face into my neck. My cheeks started to burn up pretty fast as I was trying to read my book. 

"Your not leaving my sight ever again Shrimp" Gajeel mumbled into my neck before kissing it. He was that worried? Then again I couldn't blame him for being worried. I just smiled closing my book and placing it on the ground next to us before turning around to face Gajeel. He looked at me a tad confused as I never stopped reading a book half way through. That wasn't really like me but I couldn't help myself. "Understood" I whispered before kissing Gajeel. He kissed back making sure I was as close to him as I could be.

My arms wrapped around his neck as he made the kiss deeper. I was lucky to have someone as caring at Gajeel....
