The Kiss

Silence and quick glances fill our time,

Though we have found the perfect spot.

Our gleaming eyes meet in a stare,

Shy laugh fills the air,

As if it's all so ridiculous,

Though we have both seen all reason there is for it to be done.

Fantasies have taken way on so many occasions,

Our untouched lips yearning for the feeling.

One involuntary heart beat of a step I take,

Closer to you,

Another without my knowledge,

Brings me into your arms,

Where I remain,

Indulged in your love,

So deep now that it's hard to breath,

And I'm so lost.

Looking into your eyes,

There's no distractions,

Excuses all the same.

I melt at your touch,

And the whisper of my name,

Then shiver as your cold lips press against mine,

The sweet taste of your tongue,

Send my body numb,

I'm part of you now.

Our eyes open,

And there's a part of me,

That's afraid to look at you again,

But fear is captured,

By a sense of longing,

Of desire intertwine with love,
And the excitement to do it all again.
