Your eyes tell me otherwise,

Your eyes tell me otherwise,

For your smile says you're happy,

But the thing that never changes is your inner emotions.

You pull a couple facial muscles,

Even though you feel there's no possible way,

You can die anymore inside.

You're not fooling me,

For like a crystal I see right through you,

And as much as I like your smile,

I'd like it more if it is one of genuineness.

Your eyes,

Are where all the mystery lies,

All the questions you want answered,

All the answers you want people to acknowledge,

But trust is the line of diversion,

Which separates your eyes,

For that of your smile,

Making it so that they can never coincide.

There is hope,

For like a door,

I would accept the key of trust.

I would like to unlock your secrets,

unleashing them only to me.

Thinking this as I meet my destination,

From the journey of your heart,

I see with much surprise,

Your jaunty smile,

Blinding me with rays of love and trust.

You have now given me the key,

After some profound contemplation.

I open the door to your soul,

With hope that someday you too will do the same.
