Quick words before the chapter begins. This song BY FOX EMPIRE is just so amazing and I feel like it could be the theme song for this whole book. I was listening to it when the idea of this book came to mind. So y'all can thank these amazing lyrics for this whole book! And also I'm going to start adding songs I listen to while writing these chapters so y'all can listen to them (if y'all want to) while reading. Might start a channel for the book serious. Idk yet let me know if y'all would like this! Okay thanks for the votes and comments! (I know y'all will do cause y'all are just amazing!) )

Theo POV:

I awake after hearing small whimpering coming from one of the bassinets, checking on it I see that it's small Zeus. Picking him up I exit the room and head to the kitchen. There I open the fridge and take out the container that holds Rey's breast milk.

Putting a small pot with water on the stove, I let it to began to boil. I take a glass bottle and fill it up mid way with the milk. Looking down at Zeus I see he's just staring at me.

"You okay little fella?" I ask him but he doesn't say anything, just continues to stare. I smile and shake my head before setting the bottle into the warming water. "Don't worry little guy, you'll be fed soon."

"And when will you be fed?"

I turn around and see that James is in the kitchen.

"Because from what I understand is that you can only drink the blood of your mate. And I assume Rey doesn't know this." He says as he sits on a stool.

"No she doesn't. But I don't need her blood that much." I tell him. I honestly don't know how to feel about this man. He raised Rey on his own but he also knew all along what was going to happen to her in the future and he was okay with it all.

"But you do need her blood. That I'm certain of. That's one of the things that required for you to live. Is it not?" He asks.

I turn away from him and take the bottle out. I set it down on the counter letting it cool down. Turning the stove around I turn to face him. "I do need it to live. But I won't pressure Rey into anything. I just want her to be happy." I tell him and he chuckles.

"So how do you feel about this whole ordeal? After all the babies aren't your blood. Their nothing to you. And sooner or later it's going to be very noticeable once the shifting side takes over."

"Their my mates babies. There for their something to me. I was there when they were born. I might not be the biological father, but I can always be a dad to them. I'll be here for them." I tell him while I pick up the bottle and shake it before letting a drop land on my palm checking the temperature before putting the nipple into Zeus's mouth.

"You're attached to them. Just like I was with Rey. Well, am."

"So how did you and Elizabeth come to be?" I ask him.

"Well that's a story. But pretty much she was tired of being a royal. She had to act a certain way, be a certain way and do as her parents said at all times." He says while looking behind him before continuing. "Her father wasn't that bad. If anything he was like any other father. Just protective over his only daughter. Her mother was the more strict and rude one. Elizabeth wasn't allowed to do much. But then she met Robertó and she saw her ticket out of this place. So she did what she thought was right. She paired up with him and right away she became pregnant. But she never thought that her becoming pregnant would just make her mother more strict. The whole pregnancy Elizabeth's mom was on her the whole time. Told what to eat, what to wear, where to go, what to do. It was so bad that Elizabeth tried killing herself. It was to much to handle."

"And all Robertó did was become my parents best friend." Elizabeth says as she enters the kitchen. I wasn't expecting for her to come in and from James expression, neither was he. "So when my daughter was born I left. I made Robertó flee with me. Coward didn't want to go. But I told him if he didn't hr would never see his daughter again. So he followed. And so did my guardian." She says as she puts a hand on James cheek before kissing him. "We three went off and lived our own life. We were all happy until my parents were getting closer and closer to us. So I decided to go get Rey cured. A spell was put on her when she was only five months old. It blocked off her immortal side. It worked. And I did it to myself to but that just got Robertó upset. He got so mad that he threatened to take us back. But during this whole time we were gone I began to talk more and more with James."

"I had grown tired of this life too. And I was tired of seeing her sad everyday behind these walls." James says as he kisses her hand. "So I told her to leave. To make Robertó believe that she had run away with Rey. So she did. And he followed. But in reality Rey was hidden in a house across the country with a spell protecting her making her scent disappear. Become so bland and normal like every other human. I continued to take her to her appointments throughout her life. But she stopped going around the age of seventeen so thats how she found her mate."

"And through this all I found out that I truly loved James. Not Robertó. We kept in touch through Rey's whole life. And now we're finally together." Elizabeth says as she turns to look at me after giving James a kiss. "Next time you have questions about my life ask me."

And with that's she leaves....
