But just in case your still confused I'll explain. Remember when Rey passed out in the end of the first book? Well turns out that her mother's (Elizabeth) people got to her. Chris didn't and neither did Rick. So now Chris and Rick are off to find Rey, and so are guards of here Grandparents (King Stefano & Queen Margo)
Rey woke up in a hospital. Her memory cleared and re-done by her mother's helper (Ash) , she now believes Theo (her vampire mate) is her husband/mate. (In the last chapter is was given as a possibility of Rey having 2 mates). But the memory re-do didn't take all the way because Rey doesn't believe Elizabeth is her mother. She still remembers her mom being dead. Or gone.
Oh and her wolf? Well she's been put in mute. By a spell that Ash made. (Ash is pretty magical)
