Asriel X Chara (An Undertale FF)

Dying?

We walk back home and were greeted by Toriel.

"Are you two alright?" She asks kneeling down to us.

"Yeah we're fine." Asriel answers.

"That's good. I made some butterscotch-cinnamon pie, would you like some?"

"Yeah! Sounds great!" I says running inside.

"Wait up!" Asriel says running after me.

We eat our pie and go out to the gardens. Asgore is watering all the flowers.

"Hey dad. What are you doing?" I ask.

"Oh hello children, I'm just watering the flowers." Asgore answers.

"How many different kinds are there?" Asriel asks.

"There's to many to count. My favorites are the Buttercups." He says pointing to a patch of golden flowers.

"They're beautiful." I say.

"Yeah." Asriel agrees.

"Can you two do a favor for me?" Asgore asks.

"Of course dad. What do you need?" I ask.

"I wrote a letter for Gaster, the royal scientist. Would you two go bring it to him?"

"Yeah. I think I saw it in the kitchen. I'll go get it." Asriel says running to the kitchen.

"How are we supposed to give him something when we don't know his language?" I ask.

"Sans knows, ask him to translate."

Asriel comes out with a letter in hand. "Let's go Chara."

"Be careful you two." Asgore calls to us.

"We will!" I call back.

We start walking through Hotlands. It starts getting a lot hotter. I start to stumble. The heat is getting to me.

"Hey Asriel, can we take a br-AAHHH!" I start to fall into the lava. The heat was so much that I fell off the edge. I should have just stopped walking. Now I'm going to die.

"CHARA!!" Asriel yells. But no one came...

I hit the lava but I keep falling. "AAHHHHH!" I don't know where I am. Everything is spinning. I hit the ground.

"Wha? Where am I?" I ask myself. Did I die? What happened to Asriel?

"You've fallen down. Are you ok?" Asriel asks.

"Asriel it's really you!" I say getting up and hugging him.

"Do I know you?" He asks.

"It's me Chara. I'm your best friend I say. Why doesn't he remember me?

Toriel walks up to us. "Oh child, are you hurt? Let me heal you." She says healing me with her magic. Did this already happen? "Come, we must take you home." She says grabbing my hand. Yes. This definitely already happened. What's going on here?

We go back home and Asriel shows me around the house. I meet Asgore again also. "What is going on here? This already happened." I say to them.

"Chara this is your first time being here." Toriel says.

"No. I've been here. I've lived with you for a while now. What happened?"

"Chara are you feeling ok?" Asgore asks.

"I'm fine! Why do you not remember me?" I ask getting a little angry.

They look at me like I'm crazy. "Um...how about we make some pie. Will that help?" Toriel asks.

I'm speechless. Why don't they remember me? What is going on? "Su-sure." I answer.

"Great I'll get started." Toriel says going to the kitchen.

After I eat I walk out the door.

"Where are you going?" Asriel asks.

"I need to talk to Gaster. I'll be home soon."

"Oh, can I come?"

"It's personal." I walk into Hotlands. I take off my sweater so I don't get to hot.

I finally get to the door and knock. Sans opens the door.

"Hey Sans, can I talk to your dad?" I ask letting myself in.

"Uh...who are you? How do you know my name?" Sans asks.

Does no one know who I am? "I'm Chara. I just really need to talk to your dad. Can you help translate? Please?" I plead.

"Uh...ok. I'll help. Come in." Sans says confused.

He introduces me to Gaster and I get right into my story. I tell him what happened and what's happening. He listens very closely the whole time.

"This could be something that only humans can do. It seems as though you have reset the timeline. If I were you I would try to be more careful. For now just keep living like you did before." Sans translates.

"Oh-ok." I say. "Well I better go. Thanks for the help Gaster."

"Come back anytime and I'll help." He says.

Sans let's me out and I walk home.
