Chapter 35:
When Willow and I arrived at the bakery, Annie and Noah were already there.

"Hi, Annie." I hugged her. "Willow, this is Noah. Noah, this is Willow."

I looked into Noah's eyes. He has Finnick's eyes. Altogether, he looks like a younger version of Finnick. I was lost in thought when Willow pulled me aside.

"Mom, can I start walking Noah back to the house? I want to show him around."

"Of course, honey." Peeta would be closing up the shop in a few minutes anyway.

"Come on Noah. I'll show you where my house is."

She grabbed Noah's hand and they walked down the street together. I peered inside the bakery. Rye was sitting on top of the front counter. A part of me felt bad for him because I had a feeling he would be left out most of the weekend. I walked up to the counter.

"Rye, do you want to go for a walk?"

"Okay!" He exclaimed. I helped him off the counter and I held his hand. He takes after Peeta with his creative and wild imagination. I didn't want him "exploring" too far.

When we got back to the house Noah and Willow were staring at me in horror. There was a poster taped to the front door. Willow ripped the sign down and forcefully handed it to me.

"Mom..." Willow started.

I stared at the sign in horror. Tears were rushing down my face. The past is all coming back.
