Chapter 11:
After I walked Johanna home, I headed back to my house. Peeta was still at the bakery so I had time to hide Finnick's trident. Smuggling that thing home was ridiculous. It's not exactly inconspicuous.

Our house wasn't very small, but there were many places where Peeta would find it. I couldn't hide it in the kitchen because, let's face it, Peeta's a baker's boy. The bathroom was too small and the bedroom was just not a great place to hide anything. I couldn't hide it under the couch which reminded me I still needed to sanitize everything Johanna and Gale touched in there.

Where the hell would I put it? I was deep in thought when I decided to put on my fathers hunting jacket and laced up my leather boots. They had at least an inch worth of dust on them. Has it really been that long since I last went walking through the woods?
