Chapter 33:
*6 years later*
The wanted signs were still up. Lila Snow was nowhere to be found. It's been six years and there was no sign of her.
Willow is now 12 and Rye is 10. Willow is always with Avan these days. They've gotten in the habit of leaving Rye at home, so Peeta takes him to the bakery. Rye really likes spending time with Peeta and I know how much Peeta enjoys teaching him how to bake.
Annie is coming up with Noah this weekend, so maybe Rye will get along with Noah. Noah is 13 and I am not really looking forward to seeing him. I'm just afraid I will see too much of Finnick in him.
At dinner I told this news to Peeta and the kids. "Do you guys remember Annie and her son Noah?"
"Not really." Willow said.
"She's my friend from Dist-," What would District 4 be called now?
"She lives south of here." Peeta said.
"Well, Annie and Noah are coming up here for a visit. Maybe you'll have someone to play with, Rye."
"Mom, big kids don't play. We hang out."
"Excuse me. I didn't realize you're a big kid now." I smiled.
Rye laughed.
