Dean's P.O.V.

"Dean stop driving so fast! School isn't going anywhere!!" Sammy yells over the music from the passenger's seat.

"I know that! Shut your pie hole!" I yell back. He goes to turn the music down but I slap his hand away.

    He knows the rule:
Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cake hole.

He sighs and leans back against the seat of my Baby.

I turn down the music slightly when I stop in front of Sammy's school. He's in middle school.

"Have a good day, Sammy." I say, ruffling up his hair. He chuckles and swats my hand away from him then gives me a playful glare. I smile at him.

"Bye, Dean. You too." He says, getting out of my Impala.

He slings a backpack strap over a shoulder and starts walking into the school. I make sure he's almost inside the hallway when I pull out the parking spot and start to drive.

      Man, I've missed Kansas.

I drive to the high school I'm going to and park. I turn off Baby and pull the key out of the ignition. I take a deep breath.

I can't believe I'm seeing everyone again. It's been so long since I've seen anyone.

We moved to California for a while because dad's work needed him to be there. It's been six years and I'm so excited to be able too see everyone in person again.

I get out, with my backpack over my left shoulder and make my way inside. I smile when I see a familiar red head.

She's at her locker, taking some comic books out. I quietly make my way to be behind her.

"Hiya, nerd. Ya miss me?" I ask from behind. I see her freeze and then whip around quickly.

"OH MY GOD, DEAN!?!!" She leaps onto me, dropping her comic books. I laugh, hugging her back.

"I'm taking that as a 'yes'." I say, then pull back.

"Of course!! Now my ship could finally sail!!!"

"Ship?" I ask. Really? That's all she cares about?

"Yeah, you know she ships us." Someone from behind me said.

I turn around and I see piercing blue eyes looking at me. He quickly wraps his arms around my neck. I wrap my arms around his waist, hugging him tighter.

"I've missed you, Dean Bean." He says, I chuckle at the nickname he gave me when we were seven.

"I've missed you, too, bumblebee." I say, using the nickname I gave him at the same age. He laughs as we pull back.

"OMG, GUYS! DESTIEL IS GOING TO HAPPEN, I KNOW IT!!" Charlie yells, running down the almost empty halls. Cas and I look at her and laugh again.

She left her comic books on the floor and her locker open. I look at the hallway where she ran off, she's no where to be found.

"Still doesn't know about us, huh?" I ask, kneeling down and picking her things up.

"No. It was kinda easy to hide it since we didn't see each other in person." He says, I nod. He kneels down too and picks some papers that are scattered on the floor.

When we pick her things up, we stand and stuff her things into her locker. I close her locker and turn back to my boyfriend with a smile.

"Remember our handshake?" I ask, he nods.

"Of course I do." He says. We do our handshake we made up when we were younger, making both of us smile.

We stare into each other's eyes for a while. I forget that we're in school.

"I'm so happy you're here. I haven't seen you in so long..." Cas says, on the edge of shedding tears.

"Hey, don't cry. I'm here now, and I'm never leaving you again." I take him in my arms again, closing my eyes and resting my head on his. He clings onto my jacket, crying quietly.

"Promise?" He asks in a shaky voice.

               "Promise." I kiss his temple.

He pulls back and looks up at me. I bring a hand up to his cheek and wipe his tears away. He turns pink and smiles a bit.

     He's so adorable.

Cas takes my hand cupping his cheek, in his and intertwines our fingers.

"Now let's go sit outside and you can tell me about everything you did during the past six years. We never really talked about what happened there all that much." He says.

I nod. "Alright, it'll take a long time though."

We walk outside, hand in hand.

"We have the rest of our lives. I'm sure we have enough time." Cas says with a smile. I smile back and we walk out of the school.
