After a long weekend of sickness, I was able to recover right when school came up. Sadly, I was planning to be absent, for I had this worry of getting in trouble because of the water fight.

Though I was safe, well that's what Ryo has been trying to tell me for the past hours, panic rose to me when one of the teachers called in Kanato.

"Y/N chill. Kanato was called because he's going to have a new student session, not because he's in trouble for wetting Chiro." Ryo tried to calm me for the nth time.

"But Ryo, you never know." I sighed. "What if he really gets in trouble?"

"Woman, stop worrying about your cousin Y/N, he'll be fine." The blonde assured me once more before smirking slightly at me. "Honestly, I've never seen anyone so worried about their cousin."

"Well I'm sorry if I care for his well being." I huffed, eying the teacher who was just scribbling stuff on the board.

Ryo looked at me and I couldn't help but glance at his eyes. Those eyes made me swoon for months, those eyes made my heart go crazy, but then those eyes, they don't make my heart flutter as much now. "Psst, Y/N oy."

"Eh, huh, did you say something?" I asked absentmindedly. Ryo chuckled.

"Yeah, I did. I said that if Kanato and you weren't cousins, I'd ship the both of you so hard." He smiled.

What the hell?! "Ew! Ryo, what the fuck?" I whisper-shouted. "That's like disgusting af!"

"You act like his girlfriend!" He pointed out. "I hardly see brothers and sisters say that they care for each other's well being, let alone cousins. I'm going to be the mother of your shipping woman and there's no stopping me."

These were the times that I'd usually die in the inside. It just makes me giddy that he was so persistent on something, especially when it involves me. But not this time though, I absolutely oppose his idea. "Bleh, whatever Ryo. If you ship us, you're going to be the third wheel." I grumbled, trying to threaten him with that lame threat.

"I can see the chemistry in you and him Y/N, I swear." He told me. "And there's just something about the both of you that makes me feel that you aren't really related you know."

"Blah, we are." I lied. I need a change of subject. "Well wait, what about you though, do you have an eye on someone?"

That's when Ryo grin diminished a bit. "No, not really, not anymore. I mean, I liked someone but then like I think she doesn't like me anymore so um, yeah."

I frowned, partly because he liked someone else that surely wasn't me and partly because I only felt slight jealousy. Shouldn't I be flamingly envious right now? "Really who is it?"

"Not gonna tell you." He chuckled rather nervously. Hmm, this was the first time I actually saw Ryo this clammy. "I mean, she's not worth searching for, ehm- I mean she's worth it but like I don't like her anymore but then she's worth it don't take me wrong-"

I couldn't help but laugh, thank god the class was noisy at this time. "Ryo, you're rambling! I didn't know you could be this rambly! You're so cute oh my god!"

Ryo just looked away but I could tell he was seriously trying not to let me see the redness creeping up to his face. "Why do you say she doesn't like you anymore though? How do you know if she likes you or not?" I interrogated him.

He continued to avoid my eyes. "I just know she likes me, I've known that for months. I actually was supposed to give her something months ago but then she came into the store right with someone who seemed like her boyfriend. She denies that she likes him though, but I could see the strong connection between them."

"And how can you say she doesn't like you anymore?" I asked.

"Well, every time we pass by and meet each other's gazes, I don't see the sparkle in her eyes anymore. They used to shine whenever they see me. And do you know when do they shine now?"

My curiosity increased by a lot when he asked me. "When?"

"When she sees Kanato Y/N, they shine every time she sees him."
