Broken and Silent

Chapter 21: Discovery

   HELLO MY GOOD FOLLOWERS I AM UPDATING AGAIN AND I JUST WANT TO WISH YOU ALL A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE! I WILL HOPEFULLY UPDATE TWICE MORE IN MY CHRISTMAS VACATION. ONCE AGAIN I'M VERY SORRY THAT I'M SO INACTIVE WITH MY UPDATING. ANYWAY ENOUGH OF MY BABBLING AND ON WITH THE STORY.                                                                                             *****************************************************************************

(LUCY POV)                                                                     

   "W-what?! I stuttered. Zeref held his hand out for me to take, I nervously grabbed his hand. "Sing if you want this garden to be beautiful once again." He said releasing my hand and showed the dead plants around us. "What should I sing?" I asked. "Anything." He responded. "M'kay"

Skyscraper- Demi Lovato

   "Skies are crying, I am watching. Catching teardrops in my hands. Only silence as it's ending."

   "Like we never had a chance, do you have to make me feel like there's nothing left of me." 

   "You can take everything I have, you can break everything I am. Like I'm made of glass."

   "Like I'm made of paper. Go on and try to tear me down, I will be rising from the ground."

   "Like a skyscraper. Like a skyscraper."

   All of a sudden the benches started to sparkle and a bright light came out of nowhere, but didn't blind me, instead there stood all four benches in perfection. Maybe even better than before. I looked at Zeref who sat on the nearest bench. "Keep going, my dear." I nodded.

   "As the smoke clears, I awaken and untangle you from me. Would it make you feel better to watch me while I bleed."

   "All my windows still are broken, but I'm standing on my feet. You can take everything I have, you can break everything I am."

   "Like I'm made of glass. Like I'm made of paper. Go on and try to tear me down."

   "I will be rising from the ground, like a skyscraper. Like a skyscraper."

   Now one by one the flowers started to regain their colour and posture. How in the world is this happening? Remember Lucy this isn't real, none of this is, it's just a dream. I looked at Zeref once more and he had this weird amused look in his dead eyes. "No Lucy, this is real, you're just too afraid to to admit it." Stupid conscious. Wait that sounded like... he can use telepathy?! Cool, but a girl needs her privacy. I decided to continue my song. 

   "Go run run run, I'm gonna stay right here, watch disappear. Yeah!"

   "Go run run run, yea it's a long way down. But I am closer to the clouds up here."

   I repeated the chorus giving it all my even though I was singing to my supposed  enemy. Kind of a weird situation, but I'll live. i just focused on my singing, and only my singing.

   "Like a skyscraper! Like a skyscraper..."

   With that I was done my song, I was panting trying to regain my lost breath. "Well done, glad I could experience the Stellar Magic in person. Take a look around you, my dear, this is only a little bit of what you can do." Zeref said clapping his hands slowly. I looked around me and gasped. 

   The garden was even more beautiful that before. There was now a beautiful rustic bridge, a lake under the bridge. There were more fountains, but smaller circling the one in front of me, which was 2x times bigger than before and it was shinier too. My eyes sparkled at the sight, it was simply magnificent. 

   "Listen my dear, this is so sudden and over whelming that I'll offer you a deal. Join me and be so much more powerful than you are now, or die by my wrath trying to fulfill the prophecy. You have three days, I'll be back my dear. Sweet nightmares." The wizard said before disappearing in a cloud of black fog. Great. Just great. How am I supposed to get ba-" I stopped with a sudden pain shooting through my head. "See you in three days me dearest." A low voice rumbled in my head causing pain, so much that I started to scream. Then darkness.

(Natsu POV)

   "Fourth, Lucy is the holder of the Stellar Magic." I said looking at my dad who dropped his fork. "What?!" All 3 exclaimed very loudly. "Ow." I muttered checking my ear to make sure it still worked. "So you're telling me Lucy is the one the prophecy spoke about?" Mom asked. I nodded my head. "The girl of a broken past?" Wendy asked. I nodded. "The girl who defeats the evil with the help of the dragon heir?" Dad asked. I nodded again, which gave me a headache.

   "AAAHH!" A scream made all of us jump in our seats. "Luce!" I called pushing my chair away and ran up the stairs, 3 steps at a time. I kicked the door down, literally, but that doesn't matter. I ran to the bed and saw Lucy with sweat, no, tears on her face. But something else was on her face, swirls and delicate designs in the colour gold. "Oh my...it's beautiful." Grandine gasped as she entered the room. I noticed a faint glowing on the back of her neck, so I moved the now silent blonde to her side and moved her hair to see the cause of the glowing. It was a mark. A star with a pair of wings and a devils tail. My dad gasped and mumbled, "The marks of the Chosen One."
