Chapter:4 Date Night

(Lucy POV)

Satisfied with my actions I walked away, although I didn't get very far because a certain someone grabbed my hand. I turned around and my chocolate eyes met his onyx ones. "Yes?" I asked not taking my eyes off his. "You wanna go out with me to the café a block from here? You know to celebrate your first of many victory." He asked ending with his signature smile.

I was dumbfounded. Has all the harassment of the past, what 2 years mean nothing? "You harass me for 2 years, make fun of me for 1, make fun of my singing and you ask me out on a date?!" I yelled. He, being an idiot, nodded still smiling. I sighed. Curse this guy for being, well him.

"Well since I did kick your butt, I do deserve some kind of reward." I said smoothly while walking around him. I placed my hand on his shoulder and continued to walk, which made my hand drag across his chest. Natsu shivered at my touch and a blush came to his face with it.

I was now behind him. I went on my tip toes and leaned toward his ear and whispered seductively, "Pick me up in an hour." With that I dashed off to catch up with my friends.

"He what?!" The girls screamed. I just smiled, amused at their reactions. "You heard me. He asked me out." Erza let out an angry growl, Levy squealed, and Juvia went on and on about me not being her love rival.

"So he's picking me up in 45 minutes." "He's what?!" They screamed once again. I swear I'm going to go deaf soon. "We need to get you ready!" Levy exclaimed grabbing my arm and pulling me faster to my house.

We were headed there anyway, we just got there in half the time now.

We arrived at my empty house. My father was probably still at work so he wouldn't notice my uninvited guests, or my later disappearance. My friends rushed to my bedroom, and bombarded me with questions like, "Where are you going?" "Does this go with your eyes?" And, "What should we do with your hair?"

The final product was very lovely yet simple. I was wearing a plain grey t-shirt, navy blue flannel and black tights. Once my outfit was completed Juvia, being the whiz with hair, put my blonde hair in a loose fishtail to the side.

The whole time they were getting me ready I was texting Natsu, giving him my address and just talking about life. It's funny because for the past 2 years he has been bullying me and now we are going on a date. What kind of crazy world do I live in?!

My friends finished and we're giving me come ya and saying how much I've grown in just a couple of hours, all because of a boy. I told them they should get going before Natsu gets here in like, 5 minutes. They giggled and teased me while walking to my front door, I stuck my pink head out of the doorway and shouted, "It's not like that!"

We exchanged goodbyes and I got back in my house. He should be here any minute, what should I do while I wait? I plopped down on the couch and turned on the T.V. Not 1 minute later the door bell rang.

I ran towards the door "Comi-ahh!" I tripped over the coffee table. The pinkette must've heard my scream because he opened the door and saw me sprawled out on the floor. "Lucy!" He exclaimed before rushing to my aid. "You okay?" He asked with concern in his voice and eyes. He held out his hand out for me to take it.

"Yeah thanks. I'm fine." I said grabbing his hand, his grip was strong yet gentle. I liked the feeling, and I think he did too because he stared to slightly blush.
