Chapter Twenty: Next time you point a finger, I'll point you to the mirror.

The next day after Eli and Terra had their fight, Terra couldn't help but to feel that she over reacted, at the same time though she felt she did the right thing. The way she acted was out of hurt, and offense. Terra didn't intend to attack Eli verbally the way she did, but she was glad her point was made.

Terra couldn't help but to feel like a pawn to Eli, the way he lied about them being together only to anger Tyler; that angered Terra. Then Terra realized why she would feel so offended by Eli? Why did she feel the need to verbally attack him? Get offeneded by him so roughly?

That was the thing, at first Terra wasn't sure, As she got ready for another hard day at school Terra thought about Eli, and only Eli. Somehow, no matter how much she tried she couldn't get him out of her mind, only knowing him for two weeks seemed crazy, to like him as much as she realized she had.

What should she do? Terra didn't know the answer yet, instead she decided to just elave it alone and let things fall into place. She would fix things between her and Eli, and hopefully it would be okay. Upon reaching the school Terra felt a wave of worry. What should she do if Tyler shows up? Terra didn't have the answers to that either.

"Terra" Eli breathed behind her and Terra turned taking in his appearance, his dark clothing covering him in a more breathtaking way than usual. His hair had been swiped to one side, and as he blew his bangs out of his face Terra found herself asking. "Yeah?"

"I'm sorry if I offended you at all yesterday" Terra took in Eli's facial expression, he looked genuinely sorry, and Terra looked at him smiling. "You're forgiven, I'm sorry too" She smiled and he wrapped her in a hug. "Thanks" He whispered against her hair, and for a breif moment Terra thought he had kissed her head; She shook it from her thoughts.

"Shall we?" Eli grinned holding out his arm. Terra wrapped hers around it and they walked ot their lockers. Upon walking in Terra noticed Tyler at Madisons locker, when he saw her he made out with Madison. Eli smirked and nugged Terra. "What?" She asked hesitantly. "Follow in suite" He said. Terra was about to protest, until Eli smiled at Tyler and waved a hello.

Even though she was afraid of Tyler, Terra followed Eli and did the exact same thing. She felt triumphant as Tyler's face was one of shock. "Well that was hilarious" Josie said, awaiting Terra at her locker. "Yeah" Terra nodded at Eli. "It was" Eli smirked down at Terra before hugging her off to go to his own locker.

"I see you two made up?" Josie asked as her and Terra were alone. "Well, Wait how did you know?" Terra asked suddenly. "He was upset, came to me" Josie grinned. "Man Terra, I love this!" Terra was awkwardly looking at her friend. "What? I just love the person you're becoming and it's only been a week without Tyler, Terra you're talking to me again" Josie hugged Terra tightly.

"You want to come over today?" Josie asked, looking at Terra. Terra took in the question, when he and Tyler began dating he wouldn't allow her to see any of her friends, and she missed out on a lot. "Sure" Terra nodded while walking to her first period class with Josie. "Great, I missed you" Josied smiled warmly at Terra.

Seven classes later, and Terra was at her locker again. Getting ready to leave someone rammed Terra into her locker. She gasped and turned to see Madison. "Tyler's mine now" She sneered at Terra before walking off. "Madison!" Terra called confidently. "You can have him!" Terra felt a wave of fire burn through her, she was finally sticking up for herself. She was finally becoming the person who had been lost for a while.

Outside Terra met Josie and they hugged happily. Someone poked Terra, and when she turned Whitney was grinning. "Hello, Terr" Terra smiled and hugged her as well. "Terra, I went on a date last night!" Whitney was excited and Terra even enjoyed the girl time. "Oh?" Terra asked smiling happily, she hadn't heard from Tyler all day and it felt great.

"Yeah, his name is Kale and he is super gorgeous!" Whitney squealed in excitement. "Sounds great" Terra responded smiling happily for her friend. "Thanks" Whitney smiled back. "Let's pig out on junk food eh Terra?" Josie asked when they came up to a convenience store. It was located just down the street from Josie and Whitney's house. "Sure" Terra smiled.

Once back at Josie's, Terra made herself comfortable on Josie's couch. While eating junk food, Josie stirred up conversation that Terra was kind of already expecting. "So Terra, why the sudden attack on Eli yesterday?" Terra rolled her eyes to herself, not wanting to explain everything. Lukily for her Eli already had, "Well Eli told me everything, but why did you explode?" Josie confirmed. "I guess I was just offended, by his actions" Terra blushed and Josie pointed and accusing finger at her, grinning.

"What?" Terra asked nervously. "Well, I think you like Eli and thats why you exploded. Don't deny it!" Josie teased and Whitney was laughing at Terra's expression. "Wh-what nooo" Terra groaned. "Yes you do!" Whitney joined in the teasing. "Well, maybe a little" Terra admitted. "Try, a lot!" Josie and Whitney said together.

This got Terra thinking, and despite only knowing Eli for two short weeks, She did like him.

And she feared it.
