"Why. Do. You. Have. My. Jansport?!"
"What? What's wrong?" He looked at me. "Can't you share?"
How the hell didn't I even notice it earlier? "Dude, that's like, a limited edition from America." I informed him, annoyed with the fact that he's using it. "I don't even use it that much! That's like hidden in my closet and everything!"
"If it's limited edition, then why let it gather dust?"
I huffed. "I don't let it gather dust, I just don't want it to be dirty! Plus that's like-"
"Shh, stop talking loudly. The nurses hear us." He shushed me. "It's just a bag for fuck's sake."
"Well, if that gets dirty and everything you fucking clean it." I muttered. "And don't you even dare tell me that's where you're going to store the blood bags."
He didn't say anything after that and just kept walking. "Amazing, if you're leading, why am I even here?"
"Because you know the place better than me." He replied
I rolled my eyes, doesn't he get that I'm just as lost as he is? "How many times do I have to tell you that-"
"Shh, there's a nurse coming at our way!" He whispered frantically. Sure enough, there was a nurse at the end of the hallway we were. We'd be seen in just a second, we're definitely screwed.
"Oy, what are you two kids doing there?" Shit, we were spotted. As I was about to run away, Kanato grabbed my hand and in a blink we were in a dark room.
I let out a breath the I held for awhile. "That, was fucking close."
"True." He chuckled. "Good thing we got out."
"Yeah...how did we get out though?" I couldn't help but ask.
He didn't answer again, uuugh. "I'll tell you later, for now lets just find out where we are."
He took out a flashlight from my backpack and switched it on. It looked like we're in a large freezer or something. "It's cold." I shivered.
He went towards a refrigerator looking thing while I explored the place. There was some kind of sign there. "Room temperature must be at..." I couldn't properly read what because it was dark but I think it was nearly 0 degrees. "Kanato, we're going to freeze here, let's get out-"
"No, we're in the the right place." He told me. "We found the place where they store the blood bags."
