"Whatever," I said. I raised my right arm and placed it at the back of my head while the left rested on my side.
"Kuya... can you be a model in my online shop?" she asked.
I closed my eyes and ignored her existence. Here we go again, but she wouldn't stop bothering me, so I had no choice but to answer.
"What? No!"
What's with this modeling thing? I wasn't interested; didn't she hear how I refused the woman earlier? Should I say it a million times over? I was sure she listened to what I said earlier, but why was she insisting on it again?
"Why not?"
"Well, because I don't want to," I said. I faced my sister, but withdrew my attention immediately, but I could still see her in my peripheral vision.
"Please," she was doing that puppy eyes again. That worked with our father, but not with me.
"No!" I said. I was controlling the volume of my voice so as not to disturb our parents.
"I know you will,"
You wish, my dear sister. I would never do it; dream on.
"Ha! You wish," escaped from my mouth.
"I know a secret about you," she was annoying, and whatever she had was all made up, as if I would buy that.
"You're kidding, right?" I chuckled.
"No," she said.
She sounded serious, so was she telling the truth, or was she playing mind games with me?
"What are you talking about?" I got curious about what she was saying all of a sudden.
"Remember that one summer when you tried to drive Dad's all-time favorite car?"
"Shut up!" I said, mad, but tried my best to whisper. More like stopping her to say anything more.
"You crashed it; I saw you!" she whispered.
"No, you didn't," I said firmly; no one saw that incident; I was sure of it.
"Deny all you want, but I have proof; Dad won't forgive you I'm sure. He fired five employees because of that incident, including loyal ones," Phoebe said and smiled, you evil one!
Yeah, it was a fact; I remembered that day; he was so mad because that car was his dad's, so it was important to him. I won't bear it when he discovers the truth; he won't forgive me.
"So, you're blackmailing me?" I asked. Why did I even ask?
How the hell did she know about that?
"Yes, so, are you in?" she asked and then smirked. Why did she think it was a good idea for me to model for her shop? I didn't even know how to do that.
My sister was evil, and I hated that she outsmarted me. What could I do now? Was there any secret that I knew about her?
"What now?" she demanded.
"No, I can't do what you want," I said.
"Fine, I'll tell Dad right now," she said, stood, walked to Dad's side, and tapped his arm to get his attention.
"Dad, are you awake?" she asked sweetly.
"Yes, princess, do you need anything?"
I would kill her if she spilled it, a matter of fact.
"Do you remember Grand Pop's car, the one he gave you?" she asked.
I couldn't look straight at them because it broke my insides.
"Yes, Dad gave it to me before he died; it made me sad when it got ruined. I will never forgive the person who crashed it."
"Yeah, that person is so cruel. Right, Kuya?"
"I hate you," I mouthed at her, and she laughed, but inaudibly.
"Yeah, so cruel," I agreed. I was so nervous I would shit myself.
"What's with it, princess?" dad asked.
"Well, I just remembered Grand pops; I miss him, that's all," Phoebe said.
"Aww, that's so sweet," Dad said and kissed my dear sister on her forehead; why was she annoying?
Dad closed his eyes again and relaxed while my evil sister looked back at me.
"So?" she said.
"Evil brat! Fine, I'll do it," I whispered to her.
"Yes! Geez, I love you, kuya, thank you," she said with a smile.
"I hate you," I replied with a smirk.
