Chapter 55: Tenrou Hills

A mascot of a pumpkin head, named Mato introduced the guilds participating.
They are:
• Celestial Guardians
• Lamia Scale
• Sabertooth
• Fairy Tail
• Mermaid Heel
• Quatro Puppy
• Blue Pegasus
• Raven Tail
• Black Phoenix
• Crescent Sun
• Southern Wolves
• Liger Claw
• Serpent Scale

Only 13 guilds will be able to qualify for the top spot. Lucy and her comrades are the first to move. The rest of the guilds aren't far behind. Fairy Tail consists of Natsu and his siblings with Gray, Erza, and Juvia. About 30 minutes later, 1/4 of the guilds who signed up were out. Either defeated by another guild or they fell. The hills moved every 10 minutes.

Lucy's P.O.V

Rain, Melanie, Roxy, Naomi, Keira, and Tamiko and I are first to arrive at the goal. Mato congratulated us and had us head inside a tent with a lounge. Only the team in first place could go. So we headed inside. Keira and Tamiko collapsed on the couch. I stood by the entrance hearing Mato congratulate the guilds coming one after another. The rest of the guilds headed back to their inns.

5th: Mermaid Heel
6th: Quatro Puppy
7th: Blue Pegasus

9th: Black Phoenix

13th: Serpent Scale

It was now 2am and Mato let us head back to the inn. The rest of us arrived and passed out. We were so tired. The Games started at 9am tomorrow morning and I was ready for our guild to claim the top spot.

Screw Sabertooth. If we were still members, then we would be acting all high and mighty but that's not the case. I decided to take a walk before heading to the inn. I turn the corner and I lift my head up. I gasped softly and hid quickly behind an alleyway.

I spotted Sting, Rogue, Orga, Rufus and Minerva with a new member. I recognized her as the Crystalline Dragon Slayer. First Generation apparently. Her name was on the tip of my tongue.

"Milady, we should take revenge on Lucy and her comrades for abandoning us." Sting says. I gasped. Why would they want to take revenge on us just because we left Sabertooth? I quietly summoned Gemini.

"Gemini, can you get some answers for me on why they want to take revenge on me?" Gemini nods. "Sure." Just before Gemini goes out I grab them and told them to transform into a random person.

"Did you train on transforming into my siblings with my current appearance?" Gemini nodded. "Yeah, did you want me to do anything else for you, Miss Nala?" I shook my head.

"No thanks Gemini. That's all. Good luck. Let me know when you're done. And pretend you're just out on a walk and you couldn't help but hear."

Gemini puts her hands on her head imitating the thoughts I had. Gemini gasped. "Daijoubou ka, Gemini?"

"Y-Yeah. I'll be going now." I nodded.

"Ganbatte...Gemini."

Gemini's P.O.V

I walked out and interrupted Lucy's former comrades. "Ummm, I couldn't help but hear that you want to take revenge on who?" I ask. Sting looks at me.

"Dare da, omai?" He asked. "I'm Safira, a member of Crescent Sun." "Are you Lucy's sister?" They asked. "No, I told you. I'm a member of Crescent Sun. I don't know any Lucy. By the way, I couldn't help but hear....why do you want revenge on her?"

"Well, she's a former comrade of ours. She and six of her former Fairy Tail friends along with some she wanted to join her decided to form a guild of their own. They said they were done with us and that even though we were close, Lucy dumped my brother, Sting during the Games. Lucy was Sting's ex-fiancé."
